USB problems take many forms - the AGESA fix is for runtime problems but even with F12 its possible to work by experimenting with port selection - I cant use both front, or both 3.2, or all 4 rear, at the same time for example.
gigabyte is always late and seems unable to solve the problems of its products
example --> ITE Device problem was solved after 10 months!!! from the release of the B550 cards on the market, but many others are still present

Find out if your device is or is not supported by Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center software, and what to do if it is not supported.
I've tried fastboot, c-states, running stock speeds, nothing helps. The worst part is that I also have an external WD Elements 1 TB HDD that's USB 3.0 and keeps disconnecting. This sucks because I used to stream my own videos from it :(
Here's an entire page full of modern, inexpensive mice:
I can vouch for the M990--I have one. Works great with my x570 Master in the USB 2.0 backplate ports, Win10. If and when you get something like this you're going to regret not replacing that Intellimouse a lot sooner. I love laser mice in particular as they will track fine on slick white tile or on a mirrored surface even if you do not use a dedicated pad.
Hope things get sorted for you...;)

Getting a fair amount of audio corruption over USB on Aorus Xtreme F34a / F33 that wasn't as prevalent prior to F33i... hmm. Also my PBO / Curve Optimizer that was "mostly stable" on AGESA 1.2.0.1a isn't really anymore but that's kind of expected, time to retune everything I suppose.

If AMD is unable to fix the problem (they officially promised a fix 100+ days ago) then buying an Intel machine is a better investment of time and money.

My Logitech MX Egro took 5-6 driver updates before it's drop offs would work on my FX-8350 under windows 7, but on my B550I with windows 10, worked immediately.
But for the record older USB devices have been known to loose compatibility of over time, with new hardware and OS release, this is nothing new, I have a lot of legacy USB devices that will not work in Windows 10, regardless if its 1.0 or 2.0.
I honestly would not look at the motherboard as being the issue.
1) Are you using the default WHQL driver for the Intellimouse used by windows, or just a generic USB mouse driver?
2) After doing the digging for you, it seems the Intellimouse 3.0 is NOT actually Windows 10 supported, in fact MS re-released the "Classic Intellimouse" in 2018 which is windows 10 compatible.

Hey, new to the forum. Came here to comment on the Z490 Vision G BIOS as there's a huge bug that prevents the PCIe speeds from being adjusted. Screenshot of the current F20 BIOS where the PCIe speed adjustment currently exists:
However, this does not actually change the PCIe x16 slot in practice as my 3070 is still running at Gen4 speeds which I believe might be causing black screen/restart issues as there are 30 series compatibility/stability issues with Gen4. Currently running an 11700k.

Hi!
I'm new to this forum and to gigabyte products overall.
I've pureshed the b550 vision d-p, bult it with a ryzen 5 5600x and worked right out of the box. But my kraken x62 aio and uni fan hub are not found by the motherboard. Then all of a sound it found the nzxt but not the fan hub... After 5 sekunds of joy the sound of USB disconnect and reconnect starter to blast from my headphones, non stop... I've upptated the bios to 12g, because there is nothing higher on GB website...
My question is, can I use the B500 vision d bios that is getting posted here or will it fry my motherboard?
Thx!

Its very repeatable that when I use both front or both 3.2 or all four rear I then get USB issues but not if I dont - so yes thats only 5 available USB on B550i.
I've had zero BT issues with a dongle but regularly someone will post somewhere that their Intel module has disappeared.
