I am using fTPM because I use Bitlocker. It is easy to disable it to upgrade BIOS and then enable it again. Current windows installation wont boot until you re-enable fTMP. In my case, Windows ask for the key to unlock my drive because Bitlocker every first boot after update.

However, this does not actually change the PCIe x16 slot in practice as my 3070 is still running at Gen4 speeds which I believe might be causing black screen/restart issues as there are 30 series compatibility/stability issues with Gen4. Currently running an 11700k.
Bifurcation x8/x8 is a workaround for this as PCIe 4.0 x8 = PCIe 3.0 x16. I'd love to be able to actually set it to Gen3 in the BIOS though and have that actually work.

The W11 compatibility checker on https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...ws_app_omc_win has been updated to give slightly better messages - they caused a lot of confusion my promoting their new OS but with few machines actually showing as compatible.
To pass you can
- enable AMD fTPM or Intel PTT in BIOS which will add a TPM 2.0 device to device manger and confirmed by running tpm in windows
- ensure you are secure boot capable with UEFI boot by having the drive in GPT format (its possible to convert MBR to GPT in place)
You will need a 8th gen Intel or Ryzen 2000 or newer to pass the check but this is a soft floor so it should still be possible to update to W11 with older CPUs

F33 on Aorus Ultra is not good. AGESA 1.2.0.1 Patch A (F33h) was great. AGESA 1.2.0.2 has brought back some USB issues and introduced new Bluetooth disconnect issues. So frustrating... On to AGESA 1.2.0.3a/b I guess.

No, there is no difference between B550 chipsets or between X570 chipsets. The differences between boards are the onboard devices, the memory layout (affecting overclock), and VRM (also affecting overclock).
So if you use default settings and QVL RAM there should not be differences.
But USB depends on the each person - which devices you have and which ports they are plugged into do make a big difference.
Also each persons Windows becomes different over time.

I have a Z590 Vision D, it's either terrible to bad or the BIOS is too new. LOL.
I've tested all versions (F3, F4, F5, and F5d) and impossible to enable XMP with 3600Mhz. My memories are Corsair Dominator 4000Mhz and they work perfectly in a setup with Ryzen.
In addition, every time I do Clear CMOS, the PC turns on and off 4 times, not counting the absurd delay to complete this cycle.
The board behaves very strangely, if I turn the PSU off (remove the power cord or use the PSU button), when I turn the PC on again, it turns on and off and then turns on again.
The POST process is terribly slow, as is entering the BIOS (DEL) or accessing the boot menu (F12). It takes anywhere from 30 to 40 seconds to do this.
My setup: GB Z590 Vision D, i9 10900k, PSU XPG Core Reactor 850W (already tested with Corsair HX1200i) and RX 580 8 Gb AsRock (already tested with RTX 2080Ti).
My other setup are R9 5950X, Aorus X570 Master, 4x Corsair 4000Mhz CL19, and that works perfectly.
