I'm happy for you but yes I have the latest driver but that has no effect on this particular issue. I'm simply reporting that in my use case - which is to hibernate the PC - the problem came back within a few days which is the same time frame as F12 - its a random event so two clear weeks with no-one...

Inevitably the Intel Bluetooth still disappeared from device manager after some days with F13 on B550i - so this issue is not resolved. As I've found I still cant use both front USB so my own USB issues aren't resolved with F13 either its been very disappointing using AMD/GB for this build....

My PC started to BSOD when applying a Windows Update a year or so back. The actual problem was a misbehaving driver that was no longer tolerated by something in the update and only by tracking down and removing the driver solved things - in other words the issue was highlighted by the update but not...

Event 41 isnt really the actual error as such - its more an event logged on startup recording that some problem caused the PC to shutdown/restart unexpectedly - like a BSOD (some info should be logged) or a h/w prob like the PSU.. Happening once in weeks would worry me - but 10 times a day I would be...

To be honest you will always find people with problems after a BIOS update - just the process of updating BIOS resets everything plus the fact youre getting a new AGESA. I went from F12 to F13 and noticed various internal things have changed but luckily nothing that cause instability. My advice would...

The BIOS update is possibly more for the firmware solution supplied by the Intel ME rather than a plug-in module but it wont help with W11 as you also need a 8th gen or newer CPU. I was able to enable TPM with a Z170 but my 6700K is ruled out anyway.

Ive not seen WHEA with F12 or F13. Ive had XMP from the start but no overclocking (not so useful on modern CPUs and GPUs) and no CPU undervolting or other tweaks. I did have ECO mode enabled with F12 to cap multi-core power on the 5800x but so far F13 seems better behaved with light Windows use and...

Back in the day with binned CPUs you could buy a cheaper tier and clock it to match the top one - but these days extra money buys you cores and given the CPU load in-game is moderate the CPU impact and RAM timings impact if youve already set XMP arent worth the effort and stability risk - only the GPU...

Thanks for comments above on F13/F34. I went ahead with F13 on B550i I wont have any clockspeed etc comparisons but just basic perf and functions like XMP and rBAR

    However -
MSI Afterburner profiles didn't appear as the GPU was given a new BUS ID
    Ryzen Master showed no info...

There's not really been anything from Intel at all.

It's quite possible the glitch happens during suspend/shutdown and is only discovered on next resume, and so it's possible that the driver isnt doing something it should to manage that suspend. But this would be a conversation to have...

This is getting far from a GB Beta BIOS topic, but although things will be better with BT LE there are still limitations to using BT. The BT software stack is more complex and more prone to disconnect in game and features like multiple controllers, the headset, and the xbox accessories app arent supported....

My keyboard is a 380 so its BT only but works fine with a BT USB dongle.
I do use a unifying dongle for the mouse but plugged in the front of the case for best connection. The back of the case is not good for interference. Unifying is more like xbox wireless and is a better solution than BT -...

There is not just one "issue".. The driver updates resolve specific connectivity issues between the module and device. Version 22.20 mentioned a yellow exclamation mark in device manager that was driver related.
But the major problem with the module disappearing from device manager requiring...

If youre having BT connectivity issues the last thing you want to do is to switch to BT for the xbox controller - in fact you were correct that Xbox wireless being a simpler connection is more reliable and has more features than BT - but my receiver only likes the red 3.2 USB port.

    My K380...

The disconnection of a device from the BT adapter wont be anything to do with BIOS. Assuming you've connected the antenna then for the xbox controller it can happen in game so I switched to using the xbox wireless receiver which has various benefits over using BT - except that dongle is fussy over which...

It's worth being sensible about what a BIOS change brings and in particular the AGESA which is just the AMD supplied component dropped in.
The AGESA changes have mostly been related to stabilising the USB devices and supported newer CPUs/APUs.

There's a chance the boost algorithm...

Thats a shame. Ive got a logitech mouse receiver on the front USB, a RTL8671B based BT dongle plugged into a rear USB, and a Xbox wireless receiver plugged into the rear red 3.2 port.

With F12 only this combo works (no cut outs) - but if I use the 2nd front port the mouse freezes and the...

There are various different possible issues with the Intel BT module.

The BT device disappears from device manager and needs unplugging from mains to restore - this may have been resolved in BIOS from F13h as they may have found a way to reset the glitch at startup.
    The BT device...

With F12 I have to use work-arounds like a BT dongle and only certain USB ports but even so I'm not rushing into F13 as its OK like that.

In any case there's no proof in release notes that F13 fixes those things and although users are brave to go quickly to F13 it takes a couple of weeks...

By setup I meant more how youve configured things rather than a parts list.

If you command sleep you get something more like hibernate - i..e. when you restart you see the Windows logo first, For true sleep which is harder to get into the delay is smaller and you get the Windows login screen...
