    Hi Stasio,

Brilliant job you are doing here :) thank you!

Would you be able to put the latest Haswell microcode into the F7C beta bios for Z87MX-D3H? SANDRA software says the BIOS file still has the old C0319 microcode.

Link to the BIOS file is:

    Z87MXD3H.7c

    Thank you :D

How to update microcode revision in newer gigabyte BIOS? Intel release new Ivy microcode rev 1b, I update the Z77X-UD5H F16 using mmtool, but it wont boot.

Seems that Intel Ivy microcode rev 1b have some problems...read here:

Stasio is right, Rev. 1B supplied with beta version of U.B.U. has some issues and has bricked main BIOS in my Z77X-UP5 TH but i've recovered from backup BIOS and now everything is fine.
With another guy of WinRaid forum that corrected the IB CPU micro-code, i've integrated the revised version into the latest F12J Beta and worked flawlessly and from initial tests seems interesting because i've lowered a little the VCore with the same OC level.
Is this GA-Z77X-UD5H - F16g the BIOS that you want to update? If so, i'll do it later this evening...

              Cheers,

              KK

Wont boot either. I took the microcode from intel site: microcode-20140624.tgz, it update ok under Linux. .

Did you flash the modded BIOS i provided or tried to integrate with UBU V.1.6.7 Beta?

I'm sorry to read this and it's strange because a friend of mine that have the same motherboard have flashed the modded BIOS and work flawlessly...

BTW, i'm glad that you have solved in a different way.

I flashed F11a last night, but max memory speed is locked at 1333mhz (my RAM is 1600mhz) and max CPU multi is locked at 38. Do you happen to know of a fix or work around for this? Is it possible to flash official Z68 UD7 BIOS now? . Thank you for your time. (Note that I haven't updated ME FW yet.)

Update: Flashed Z68=>P67 B3 F4. So far so good. Hopefully no vcore spikes and boot loops with LLC like P67B2 F8.

Tried to mod Z77X-UD3H with 1B ivy microcode(fixed version from Fernando's Win-RAID Forum (AHCI/RAID Drivers - BIOS Modding)) using UBU.Result - bootloop and bad bios. I think that it might be that UBU removes all microcodes (there were like 10 of them) in the bios and adds just 2 for Ivy and Sandy. I remember somewhere in the forum virtualfred or stasio tried to save some space in ROM by removing those other seemingly obsolete microcodes and bios failed after. (so this may be partial reason). Anyway, then I extracted Ivy code from intel's newest microcode.dat, double checked it, and replaced it using MMTool. System boots, but UEFI says that microcode update version is 000000, AIDA shows 17h. Any hints what may be the problem?

                      Z77X-UD3H rev 1.0 F20e mod3 (mod2 with latest Intel SATA OROM).

                      Thanks

                        Edit:
Ohhh,I just noticed...you have SB CPU......as F11a is special BIOS to unlock IB CPU (unlocked IVB multiplier but can't change BCLK).

Nevermind, fixed it myself. Extracted and removed all microcodes from my rom using MMTool, then inserted new one for Ivy and reinserted old ones. Saved, flashed and it worked. Microcode Revision 1Bh.
