Should be rather incompatibility then bug.

If I am running f20e bios, and want to flash a NON-beta/NON-modified bios (ie. F18) would I just flash this bios over my current modified bios, load optimized defaults, and be done?

Thanks. Was just going to flash when I rebooted into the bios. Running the F20e bios, I am having cold boot issues, takes 3 times sometimes to bootup from a cold boot. Was told beta bios might cause this.

It might be....or it could just be the bios is corrupted and needs reflashing. I saw your post on Anand?

Yes bumped it up very little. Same issue. Reading google cold boots seem to be an issue with gigabyte

was it doing it on a non beta bios? could be issue with sandy cpu/ivy motherboard

I don't get any trouble with mine, beta or final bios, max safe for vtt is 1.2v and 16gb nearly always needs a bump anywhere from stock 1.05v to 1.15v

another quick way to test would be to pull out 8gb of ram and run 8gb for a while and test for cold boot issue on stock/default vtt

I got the same problem with Bios, I think to test the f20e bios without modified part to be able know if it the original Bios or one of update.
