stasio, I'm hoping you can help me out. I just bought a P67A-UD7 (the original recalled board). I'm hoping to use BIOS from the -B3 revision or Z68. I read a lot of the XS Z68X/P67A-UD7 Club thread, but the B2 to B3 links aren't working (both 91.121.148.119 and myflare.com links ) and I'm not sure about the process.
From what you posted, sounds like I must use @BIOS and not QFlash, set Optimized Defaults, Disable G and eSATA, untick Load CMOS Default and after I should reflash the backup with ALT+F12 and later clear the CMOS? (then update to ME Firmware 8.1.51.1471 )
Could you please link the B2 to B3 BIOS (F3h right?) or whatever P67 or Z68 BIOS you recommend for overclocking/stability? Thanks for your time and any help you can provide.

Non-K AllCore max. Turbo....BIOS F9a

"Any clues why this happens?"......you try to be hero.....
I posted earlier that fan speed are affected also.
So,now flash again non modded (original) BIOS with @BIOS or in DOS (not Q-Flash).
Check in BIOS if your fans works as set.

Edit:
try to clear_CMOS.

So,which BIOS you want?.......Rev.B2=>B3......or B2=>Z68..?

Edit:

P67A-UD7-B2 => Z68X-UD7 - F11a

-F11a - unlocked IVB multiplier but can't change BCLK
Try to flash ME Firmware 8.1.52.1496 ,so maybe can change BCLK.
(ME Firmware inside is 8.0.0.1351)

I have not yet seen any OC-Force updates for the 4790k micro code. I'm sitting on wanting to pre order but need certainty that if gigabyte doesn't get a z87 bios update out for it, that a modified one will appear to do it. If there is at least a modified bios for 4790k then I will pull trigger on pre order right away. I realize the intel faq pages do list the OC-Force but they also say F1 bios version and that's completely false.

Actually while on topic, It looks like the latest OC-Force modified bios is actually based on one of the F8's and not F9 or the newer F10a. probably could use a newer update anyways. :)

EDIT:
Actually the z87 boards are no longer listed on http://processormatch.intel.com/Moth...tName=I7-4790K now. They were before I could swear. This mean modified will be only way?

^This list of the boards,on INTEL page has been totally incorrect.
Gigabyte claim that Devil's Canyon 4690K are ready since BIOS F9:
GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Socket 1150 - Intel Z87 - GA-Z87X-OC Force (rev. 1.x)
Still no 4790K on the list, but no difference with 4690K.
The problem is only new boards atm, which came with initial BIOS.

Edit:
BIOS F9-mod is here:

BIOS F10a-mod is here:

I beleive that is compatible with Devil's Canyon.

Ah I missed that one. didn't see it in first post. Well then I stand corrected there.

Curious about the devils cannon micrcodes on z87. I'm reading that even if DC works on z87, it won't be overclockable on z87, only z97. not sure how accurate that is.

Almost self defeating then since my 4770k is OC to about where DC is stock (not a golden egg, dang thing is 4.3 at 1.226 and becomes unstable at 4.4 no matter what i tried :( ).

Will be no problem for overclocking (as 4770K).

Thanks for Mod12 stasio!

Has there been anything new recently worthy of a Mod13?

If so can the latest ME Firmware also be included in the BIOS like Mod11 (I think virtualfred does it that way)?

Stasio,
Can you mod the GA-Z97X-UD5H BIOS F7 with latest?

I just switched back to your F7c mod because I cannot get sleep to work right with F7, so I am trying to find out why. (so far can't find any faulty drivers)

Also if possible, could you list "ingredients" also in the stock F7 BIOS?

Thanks & no rush, enjoy your weekend!
