    Re: GIGABYTE Modified Bios

Hi, I am new to the forum. I have an older motherboard that I use in a HTPC. I am wanting to use 3tb WD Red drives in a raid 5 array. The outdated raid controller does not recognize the full 3tb of the drives. I have tried modding my bios my self but have had no luck. Is there anyone that can take a look or point me in the right dirction? Mother board is a GA-MA790GP-UDH4.

    Thanks

Any update for GA-EP35C-DS3R BIOS F5B?

Can someone to modify/update bios GA-EP35C-DS3R bios F5B? F5B works for me basically good, but the system long time to load, detect drives too long, show stupid info "this version support only hard disk and cdroom drives", etc. I suspect that the fault of the old SATA/AHCI controller v1.06.59 bios? In this forum I found only update for the board GA-EP35-DS3R (F5B mod 3), but my mobo is E35C, so i ask for help :-)

    Re: GIGABYTE Modified Bios

    Hi Tweaktown buddies,
Is there someone who can tell me if there are newer BIOS components available since the last modified GA-Z77-D3H BIOS version I found (see quote entry below) ...maybe in the meantime there is also another unpublished GigaByte BIOS available ?!?!
And maybe more important ... does anyone here have the knowledge/experience to build a newer modded bios version for GA-Z77-D3H (V1.0/V1.1)?

Fixed: Sometimes the computer start automatic - 1 or 2 times per month
Fixed: Hanging, Crashing, Freezing on lot of gigh end games - BF4 or Killing Floor but happens on low games sometimes too.

    Re: GIGABYTE Modified Bios

    Hi Guys!

I am looking for a modified bios version for the Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H Motherboard to add NVMe Support, since I'd like to install a Samsung SM951 SSD drive.
I already tryed to modify the bios myself, I downloaded a Z97 bios and extracted the 3 needes files (Nvme, NvmeSmm, NvmeInt13) using MMTool.
Then i tryed to import in the F18 bios of my board (latest stable version) but it won't work!

I got some error importing one of the .ffs files, "GUID already existing or something like that".
    I used this tutorial:
[Tutorial]How to add NVMe support on any AMI UEFI BIOS with an Intel Chipset

I wonder if there is an existing bios version for that board including the NVMe support somewhere here? Already searched the thread but could not find anything useful ...

    Thank you!

Stasio, nice to see you again,

I wanted to know, were there ever any special modded Bioses for the P67 UD5 (B3) board that allowed full multipliers for Ivy Bridge, even if it was a legacy Bios, to bypass the X39 CPU multiplier limit?
I remember asking about this years ago in the main Bios thread but it seems like all interest just vanished because of the Z68 / Z77 boards....
