I wanted to know, were there ever any special modded Bioses for the P67 UD5 (B3) board that allowed full multipliers for Ivy Bridge, even if it was a legacy Bios, to bypass the X39 CPU multiplier limit?
I remember asking about this years ago in the main Bios thread but it seems like all interest just vanished because of the Z68 / Z77 boards....
Yes, I tried cpu vcore voltage set either to normal and to a specific value. Unfortunately no matter what the setting is cpu has applied it's auto values so 0.740 V for idle and 1.136 V for workload. With the previous unmodified F9 microcode the offset with 'normal' voltage setting had worked without issues.
I'm looking for a modded bios for z87x-ud3h that supports unlocked maximum turbo for 4 cores (my cpu is xeon 1240v3). I would be grateful for your help.
cheers,
Rio
Use UBU tool (links posted a few posts back) and replace in your BIOS Intel microcode with revision 7.
