NOTE: This bios has option roms before the sensitive modules. Structure has
been changed to preserve the offsets by replacing the original option ROMs with
dummy modules. You can update option roms above to future available versions by
using cbrom tool without corrupting the bios

@virtualfred: sry for not replying for so long. but yeah, i get BIOS ID error if i try to use P67A-UD3R modded BIOS for my P67A-UD3. Looks like i need a specific modded BIOS for the mobo. ><

I recently bought a GA-Z77P-D3 mainboard with a i7 3770K CPU and i bought this setup for some moderate OCing.
I went into the bios, and searched.....searched....searched and could not find any options to increase me Vcore whatsoever. For the record i am willing to try modified bios updates if that makes it work for me, i'm not foreign to fixes like this. if someone is able to make a modded bios to help me out, here is the bios file that i currently use http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList...77p-d3_f8e.exe

I went into the bios, and searched.....searched....searched and could not find any options to increase me Vcore whatsoever. For the record i am willing to try modified bios updates if that makes it work for me, i'm not foreign to fixes like this. if someone is able to make a modded bios to help me out, here is the bios file that i currently use http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList...77p-d3_f8e.exe

There should be a menu option, where the vcore/memory/powerphase options are, its def there, just look though the settings.

Chive411, Please flash f12x mod from qflash if you have previously installed f12w, after flashing, wipe out all settings, don't load any saved profiles, the bios is different now,saved profiles will just screw it up, turn off power, clear cmos for 10 mins, pull 1 of your mem sticks to make sure all power as gone from board while clearing cmos, load deaults and reboot back to bios, now the tricky bit is finding the right boot disk as theres a slight bug at the moment where it shows wrong info for hdds etc. Don't play with secure boot if your win7 and especially if your GPU isn't uefi/gop, you wont boot and cant clear the keys by cmos. After you manage to set it up and boot into os, you can flash your back up.

I ended up leveraging 2 new disks, RAID 0 on Marvell/GSATA ports (had to pud the marvel setting under peripherals in BIOS to RAID vs AHCI to boot), got Win 7 to install. Ran @Bios flashed back to F11. My SSD i think is a brick now, the MB would see it but it would never show in the windows install. Couple of questions.

I have F11 under the green/main bios switch, how do I copy that to the back up (and in the event of, make the backup bios become the main? ALT-F10, does that copy main to backup, what is the reverse, backup bios to main bios?)
Since my MB, G1.Assasin2 sees the SSD but windows install didn't do I need some mystery driver (Muskin Chronos Deluxe SSD)
How do i tell if my win 7 install is EUFI or Legacy (is there a better one, i'm assuming EUFI)
Any pros to going to 12x/12x mod in my current config?

Yes works same way, just keep tapping ALT f10 at boot. I think if you installed uefi, your win7 installation disk will have uefi next to the dvd/cd driver when inserted in bios, there will be 2, normal dvd/cd and uefi dvd/cd,you should also have a separate boot partition in the bios, if no separate boot partition then I think it may be legacy. You need to figure out your boot, or, just clean install, flash f12x, set to uefi options, don't touch secureboot, choose rst not rst-e, then choose uefi dvd/cd to boot and install. Test your ssd, urn off the pc, connect ssd to a spare intel port, it will be offline so you need to import foreign disk if it shows in win7. I would go f12x mod, it as all the latest option romswich will in many cases be more compatable with ssd's, but if your happy with the older type bios then flash the latest mod for that type, http://www.mediafire.com/download/bx...n2_mod_12s.zip

GA-Z77P-D3 mainboard (hardware....>All Digital PWM controller) do not suport Vcore option.
