Hey Boe, all still good here. I am not overclocked atm, stability from stock settings is the starting point for me before i start playing. But everything seems to work fine including secure-boot and fast boot with enhanced memory set. Not tried ultra-fast yet - that's next.

Ah, I went straight to ultrafastboot, doesn't work for me, and now im starting to get errors on my hdds. I realy want this new mobo to come out, desperate, I don't see the point in re installing my OS when Im waiting to buy the assasin3, knowing my luck, they've abandend it and wont be releasing, im so fed up with this board now, problems from day one, none of the bios' actaully worked 100%, theres options still missing like prochot for instance.Lol and now the bios is updated you cant use touch OC, doesn't seem to work anymore.

        Hello,

        I am currently using bios;

        GA-Z77X-UP7 BIOS F7a mod
        Modified with :
Intel Legacy RAID for SATA - 11.6.0.1702 to 12.7.0.1936
Intel UEFI RAID SataDriver - 11.6.0.1702 to 12.7.0.1936
Intel PCI Accelerated SVGA BIOS 2158 PC 14.34
Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller 2.1.1.1 to 2.1.1.5
Intel Boot Agent PXE 1.3.81 to 1.5.40
        Marvell 88SE91xx Adapter 1.0.0.0027 to 1.0.1.0025
        Sandy (06A7) CPU-MicroCode Rev.29 added
        Ivy E1(06A9) CPU-MicroCode Rev.17 to 19
        Modified splash logo

Is there any major update needed to update this bios to be current with newer bioses for other boards? Or is the only difference the modified splash logo v2?

Another question about an odd new option in the latest IVB-E supporting BIOSses for the X79 boards.

What's that option for to enable a COM port?! Not like my board had one, or did I miss something? The return of real legacy ports? ;)
Or is it a com port that some onboard device is using?

Ah, I know what you mean now, its been removed for space, to add the uefi/efi drivers, sorry for the confusion, I hope you weren't messing aroud trying to get the 3D bios back, sorry dude. Its possible that we could have it back on final release, but I dought it.EDIT: Its possible the f12x doesn't contain the fastboot fix, as I reported it on the 7th November, bios creation date is the 6th.(g1assasin2 f12x)

Hi Guys, I'm new here. Sorry for my bad English.

                    I have a Z77X-UD5H (Wifi version - Rev 1.0) with F8 BIOS STOCK and SB 2500K @ 4.5ghz.

Can I flash the F16 Mod9 version on my board? Or it is just for rev 1.1 ?

There are some bugs that I can expect?

If everything is stable after falsh, is recommended to flash the Backup Bios too?

                    Thanks
