      Updated Option ROMs

      1. Intel 12.7.0.1936
      2. Realtek 2.56
      3. JMicron 1.07.28
      4. Latest Microcode Updates

NOTE: This bios has option roms before the sensitive modules. Structure has
been changed to preserve the offsets by replacing the original option ROMs with
dummy modules. You can update option roms above to future available versions by
using cbrom tool without corrupting the bios

      Tested and working
Many Thanks for the updated BIOS. The reason I asked for this, was due to some issues I've had with my system since upgrading to an SSD drive with Win7. Since the upgrade, I've had various random system crashes and the sleep function has become unusable (often crashes on resume). I'm not using RAID, or any overclocking and had no issues prior to the upgrade.

My Windows system drivers were updated using a program called Drivermax (I'd tried searching for Intel drivers manually, but this was a real pain in the ass to understand which drivers suited my system), but this hasn't really helped.

I was hoping that an updated BIOS file would contain the latest motherboard storage code, and hopefully resolve this issue. But from the updates I've read in the thread, maybe this isn't going to solve my issue, as I'm not using RAID?

      Any feedback would be appreciated?

Any chances to get an bios mod here for my Gigabyte Z87X-UD4H v1.0? I have some random issues with that board and Corsair F3 90 gb sata 3 ssd (OS partition drive) - drive dissapear from system once or two times per week, while i'm in a game or just do nothing in desktop. I connected the ssd to tha Marvell sata port 0 and things return to normal, but on Intel P0 still occured detection issues despite the fact that i already flashed the bios twice till now (F7 and now i'm on F8b).
My ssd has SF 2281 controller and i read that SF controllers has incompatibility problems with some Z87 boards (it seems ASUS are the only brand that repaire the problem thru a major bios update for all their mobos).
So,can my problem be adressed thru a modded bios? I have latest beta (Gigabyte tech support sent to me,but detection problem still remain) F9b.
I gotta talk to someone here who can help me,or i don't know,i'm new to this forum...
        Thanks for advices!

On intel systems, you have the option to run in RAID mode (set SATA mode to RAID in Bios) and your SSD will automatically pass through in AHCI mode. Some older SSDs have had issues with sleep mode especially OCZ ones. What SSD are you using? You can try the modified bios, setup in RAID mode, install the latest RST driver (see the pic attached as part of the download) and test if you are still having issues.

I never modified an Asus BIOS, but UBU can easily do that (without ME FW update).

Hi, the new mod BIOS loaded fine and my system boots with no issues. Many thanks for your time and effort creating it. I'm using an OCZ Agility 3 SSD drive with latest firmware.

My system will not boot if I set the BIOS to RAID mode - Windows 7 blue screens on start up. AHCI mode boots fine. I can't get the latest RST driver to work when I run the "SetupRST" it complains my system is not compatiable. I'm using an older version from 2010 - see screen shot for details.

                    <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/user/tommietoe/media/RST_zpsa0f45346.gif.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v200/tommietoe/RST_zpsa0f45346.gif" border="0" alt="RST photo RST_zpsa0f45346.gif"/></a>

It's too early to tell whether the new BIOS has solved my issues, but I can report back in a week.

Can I get a mod for G1.assassin f12y please, current fixes applied are : Overclocked ratio + Secure Boot disabled + Ultra Fast boot = Directly enter bios menu – Fixed, as you can see gigabyte intend you to run ultrasfastboot when secureboot is disabled, well that's how I interpret what they wrote, thing is it was booting to bios when secureboot was enabled with ultrafastboot, lets see how it goes, waiting for a mod, EDIT: Sorry didn't post the link http://www.mediafire.com/download/g6...6/G1ASSAS2.12y , please check integrity of bios, ive been having download/upload issues just lately, think it may be avast.

Sure. It would boot to a blinking cursor 2 out of 3 times.
