What is the difference between the Mod firmware version z77xd3h_mod_18i for the Beta Z77XD3H.18k?

What would be the best bios?

MSI has already released AGESA 1.2.0.2 (eg. bios 7C35v1E3).

I hope that Gigabyte won't make us way much longer.

My X570 Xtreme Rev 1.0 started giving me a device connected chime at the start of Windows all the way back to my 3800X about a year or so ago. Same thing with my 5800X since I installed it around release day. THAT needs to be fixed and I don't know if it's a bios fix or if it needs an RMA.

I have had that 'problem' with my 6700k as well. A fresh windows install fixed it. Its probably caused by some USb devices being re initialised by windows or the device software. On my current win10 install its happening again and since everything is working fine and stable i just ignore it.

Hey guys. I seem to be having some issues with a Z590 Aorus Master and 10850k. I am getting constant PCIe bus errors in hwinfo no matter what BIOS settings are set. It trips error 17 in event viewer. It seems to point to a PCIe root controller, but doesn't tell me which one and so I've been scratching my head. I've tried F3 and F5b BIOS versions with no fix. Is this a known issue that is being worked on?

Theres F5C atm... Not getting those errors you mention, but F5B was kind of a mess for me. F5C still broken on PCIe x8 (instead of PCIe x16) for GPU.

Turns out this is a Win 10 issue not a Bios issue.

I have constant Event 17 warnings in Event Viewer as well using a Z590 Aorus Pro AX and 11700K. No tuning yet other than XMP. At first I thought it might have to do with 4G addressing or Resizable BAR, but it still throws the errors regardless of that setting. No stability problems observed, though.

Which board are you using? I've seen you post about the AORUS PRO AX and TACHYON.

If using the PRO AX, did you see the posts from me and zmeul? Using either of the middle two NVME slots will downgrade your GPU to x8 per the block diagram in the manual. You won't be able to use the top slot as it's for 11gen only, so the correct NVME slot to use without compromise is the bottom one only, M2P_SB.

On TACHYON, both M2P_SB and M2M_SB are connected to the southbridge.

Update on RTL8125 issues:

Realtek has fixed flow control in 10.48, but is still working on fixing Interrupt Moderation and Large Send Offload.

With 10.48, you should still disable Interrupt Moderation, and Large Send Offload. Flow control, however, can be enabled.
