            Hey guys,

I am using the Gigabyte X58a-ud5 rev 2 with the latest bios listed here. Is there an update to it to help with USB 3.0? looking to get more life out of my board.

            Right now have a Xeon X5650 @ 4.67ghz 12gb of ram ( 6 x 2GB), 3 titans, 4 30" monitors with a USB 3.0 card reader (usb 3.0 ports never work)

                      Hey guys,

                      2 Questions to summarize below.

1.How do I check which version of the bios I installed for my Gigabyte X58A-ud5 rev 2 and how do I backup all my bios config settings ( 5 of them) before updating. (I searched couldn't find a link)

                      2. Is it possible for someone to update the Gigabyte X58A-ud5 rev 2 bios if it has not been done already with the latest roms / drivers?

                      Version FF3 Date 9/6/2011

But the latest one listed in the modified section is different, and I know people re upload other modified bioses here.

                      Gigabyte X58A-UD5 rev 2 motherboard
I recently went Raid 0 and switched to a Xeon 5660

How do I check if I have a modded rom installed to allow me trim? If I dont have it how do I get it and install it?
My hard drive had this file on it:
                      X58A-ud5 rev 2 mod 10_17_12.f3
                      IRST 11.6.0.1702
                      Realteck 2.50
                      Jmicron 1.07.28
                      Marvell Bios Version 1.0.0.1033 / Firmware 2.2.0.1125
FYI I totally forgot which custom bios I put on how do I check 8-)

I have bios FF3 but how do I know which file I need for Raid 0 / Trim support as well as get USB 3.0 working again with the latest updates?

                      - I have a really optimized setup for my settings, so would appreciate any help in backing up my settings correctly before updating. I have my array in Raid 0 so dont want to mess it up if you know what I mean.

This way I am technically up to date. I am on a Xeon O/C to 4.67GHZ and have 2 Pro 840 SSDS in Raid0 (intel ports heard marvell still is not good for os boot drives, SLI titans, 6x2GB G SKill ram. Then, I really wanted my usb 3.0 to work properly as it reverts to 2.0 in the USB 3 ports. I figured maybe a different bios would fix it.

If I am up to date though, I will just stay with it and not tinker... Thoughts?

EDIT: Just really wanted to get the last tweaks since I dont want to upgrade until Skylake since x99 really was not a HUGE upgrade X58 is still going strong and I appreciate what everyone in this community does and has done. If there is maybe a way to make a more up to date bios for the Gigabyte X58A-ud5 rev 2 would be greatly appreciated!

                      Thanks everyone!
