Still hoping that P4Spooky or someone else can help me with the GA-X48-DS4 To update the ROM Modules. It's the sister board to the GA-X48-DQ6 and has all the same chips, I could do it myself if I knew how to work with Hex editors to correct offsets and the specific process for this bios. As I don't I was hoping P4Spooky or someone else familiar with how P4Spooky did it could help. LINK:http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList...s4_1.3_f3b.exe Thanks

              Bro,
X48 is very old system and proper latest ROM's is very hard to found...even can brick the board....so my suggestion is to leave as is.

                Updated Option ROMs

                1. Intel 12.7.0.1936
                2. Realtek 2.56
                3. JMicron 1.07.28
                4. Latest Microcode Updates

NOTE: This bios has option roms before the sensitive modules. Structure has
been changed to preserve the offsets by replacing the original option ROMs with
dummy modules. You can update option roms above to future available versions by
using cbrom tool without corrupting the bios

                Tested and working
Same board as the GA-X48-DS4 with an extra eSATA port. So same updates would be a great start as they are tested to work. Thanks

Will the modded BIOS for Gigabyte P55A-UD4 work with both revisions 1.0 and 2.0 revision of the motherboard? I have 2.0 version, thanks in advance. :)

Where you see management engine firmware ver.10 (win-raid.com) ?
                          Not here for sure.
For your Z87 (Intel series 8) refer to:

                          edit:
I know about fw ver.10, but is for notebooks.....
