          Here's the version of WinRAR I use. http://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-501.exe I just downloaded the BIOS again, checked it out, and it works just fine here. You can download the .zip BIOS here, just in case.

              @MacG32:

              I just checked out CPU World since I did not know the 206E6 since I was curious which CPUs they are. CPU World claims it's a Xeon X7550 with a Nehalem core for socket 1567. Which can't be running on X79 boards....

              Something is wrong there. Any idea which CPU it's supposedly for? 6Ex seem to clearly be IvyB-Es up until 206E4

              Edit: Confirmed by Wikipedia. It's the CPUID of multisocket Beckton CPUs. 8-core.

                Geez, I dont know whats going on here. Downloaded another 3 times used winrar again and 7 zip to extract. It extracts to another zip file ? why i do not know,then i try to extract the bios / bin file again and it still not do it. Then i test again on my laptop just in case something screwy is wrong with my PC. Nope same again. I have never had this before on any other bios files. Tested some other 7 zip files on my PC and they unzip fine including some previous bios files.
                IM Baffled now.

                  He give you also this link:
                  MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

                  I checked and is OK.

                        In the Updater I quoted below, that's part of the CPU update package. Thanks for the info though.

                        In the archive, there are only 2 files named G1ASSA2M.12z (BIOS) and G1ASSA2M.12z.txt (Read Me). When you double click the .rar or .zip file, those are the 2 files in them. You can put the G1ASSA2M.12z (BIOS) file on a USB drive and update through your current BIOS using F8 Q-Flash.

                          No,the problem is your .rar file...even I cann't open (before also).

                            Hello Stasio,

                            thank you! But on the first page there is only an old F7b modded Bios for the GA-Z87-HD3. Not the new released F7 Bios.

                            Please take a look on it again. Thx!

                                Well i cannot open either of them rar and zip.
                                Double click on either and i get two files - the read me changelog and another zip file, this will not extract.
                                I have tried several other zip files on my PC and they are fine - but not this one gents.
