yes it will work fine with a four pin connector

      • EasyTune6 Intel keeps crashing

        Stasio, Acebmxr,

        I have a UD5H motherboard, and Intel i5-3570K OC'd to 3.9GHz.
OS is Windows 7 x64 SP1 eng. GPU is the built-in Intel HD 4000.

Current BIOS is F15t modded by Acebmxr, and it's been running for quite a while very nicely without problems.

A couple days ago, I installed the latest version of EasyTune6 B12.1121.1 (Intel).
I made sure to un-install the previous version prior to installing the latest one.

EasyTune6 keeps crashing with the module work.dll probably causing this crash.

Have you guys experienced this too?
Is there a known way to solve this?

Is there an alternative application you guys recommend for managing my fan speeds?

        Thanks in advance.

Game freezes when PCI Express Sound Card connected to PCIEX4 slot. :(

          (no OC when tested)
          Intel Core i5-3570K
          Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H (BIOS F16)
          Hynix DDR3 1333MHz
          2x4Gb
          Gigabyte GeForce GTX 650 Ti
Asus Xonar (Sound Card PCI-E x1)

Sound card was installed to PCI-E x1 slot -> everything was fine. (except bad video card cooling)
(PCIEX1_1, PCIEX1_3 is to close to video card, PCIEX1_2 is covered by 2 slot card)

Install sound card to PCIEX4 --> game freezes
          Remove sound card -> fine
Reinstall Windows 7, connect sound card to PCIEX4 -> freezes
Replace sound card with friends Creative sound card -> freezes

I need a second Ethernet card. If I start to use two PCIEX1 slots, the video card will be completely covered :(

Its not allowed to use PCI-E x16 slots for PCI-E x1?!

              Mimile,
sounds like wire hits fan on cpu, case or inside psu (if you try to stop cpu and case).

No. Believe me, i've search everywhere, i even opened the power supply. No wire hiting any fan. I'm not a noob at all. this is absolutely not an easier problem..

I found this when I searched bad clicking noise in power supply
You might want to check the mosfets in your power supply.

Enermax Liberty ELT400AWT making clicking noise but still running

I found some of that brown glue on the MOSFET legs and scraped it off, and blew some dust out of the PFC board.

Decided to try again and was going to swap PFC controller board from the other PSU to see what happened, but this time no clicking.

Maybe the glue was the problem, maybe the dust was full of moisture from winter... Will see what happens I guess.
