In 3dmark2001SE i get 7729 but i still feel thats too low. i think i should at least be breaking the 8k marker. wat u guys think??

i think you should get a little more because my bro has:

msi kt333 pro ultra
765 meg ddr ram
ati radeon 8500se
ibm 7200 60gig

and returns a score of 7941
the cpu never gets above 44c,

Your score is effected by many things from the programs running in the background to the temp of your comp. Your 3D mark score will be alot different when running after uv played cs for an hour copied a cd and then played some music compared to running the tests after your comp been off all nite n u just turned it on.

maybe...but not that different. If you'd left it on for 2 weeks straight then benchmarked, well, then you'd see some differneces, but not just from playing a game of CS.
