Re: asus p4t533-c post issues
Well, I think I have solved the mystery. After more research, it appears that I goofed. The motherboard is only able to handle P4 processors with 256 or 512K L2 cache. The processor in question has 1Mb of L2 which creates a compatibility issue. Oh well....

Re: asus p4t533-c post issues
Yeah. This particular board has audible error codes. The only one that I have actually heard, was when I pulled the cpu and tried to start the board. I got an audible message that the cpu was missing. There are supposed to be several, but I could...

asus p4t533-c post issues
I need some help. This is my first pentium build and I am at a loss. I had an Asus P4T533-C motherboard left over from an upgrade. I got a pentium 4 2.8 Ghz 533 sl7pk processor for the board. Having installed the processor, hsf, video, ram, I can't get it to post. I get a verbal error code when...

Re: Epox 8RDA3I power issue?
I didn't think of the monitoring chip. Like I said everything is fine right now and I have no idea how long it has been reading that way. I may borrow a meter and check it later. The system was OC'd for the last couple years with no issues until the power...

See you made me go and search for it :p
I was a bit mixed up it seems. Hope this helps:
You can identify which type of TBredB it is by looking at code that begins the second line of coding on the processor. If you see a code like "AIUHB" that begins with the...

I still don't understand why everyone is falling over themselves to get a directX9 card when there is not a single game out that supports it. UT2K3 is that only big title that I am aware of that even supports 8.1 and look how long that took. They are still releasing new titles that only require directX7....

Not at home to double check, but i think all the codes with the "DUT3" are A-cores. I think the B-cores have an "L" in them somewhere in there. Sorry about the vagueness, but I am pretty sure that I am correct. Maybe someone that can double check will chime in.
