virtualfred,

    I only see F20a mod1 for Z77X UD3H.

    F20a mod2 for Z77 D3H.

Look here, just below the new splash logo... but mod2 isn't faster or stable than mod1, only the splash logo change

      (For Z77-D3H there's a mod3)

Hi virtualfred and thanks a lot for the modified splash logo (and the benefits that this brings)!

I've a Z77X-UP5TH and recently i bought a Z77X-UP4TH (i love UP MoBos for their VRM... ) and i use them with 2 Sandy Bridge (Core i5 2550K and Core i7 2600K) under custom watercooling and "obviously" heavily overclocked.

I've tested many Beta BIOS and i must conclude that there is something wrong with Sandy (06A7) CPU-MicroCode Rev.29...
When i flashed beta BIOSes with Rev. 29 MicroCode @ same conditions and BIOS settings i loose stability and when i rolled back to previous used BIOS with Rev. 28 MicroCode i recovered stability instantly.

For this reason i've two special requests for you:

                1) For the Z77X-UP5TH is it possible to have the F12j mod2 but with the previous Sandy (06A7) CPU-MicroCode Rev.28)?

                2) For the Z77X-UP4TH is it possible to have the F9 (latest and official from GB and for me most stable BIOS) with your modified splash logo and all latest ROMs but with the previous Sandy (06A7) CPU-MicroCode Rev.28?

If removing Ivy E1(06A9) CPU-MicroCode Rev. 19 let gain some small space that can help in updating ROMs to even newer version or simply have less issues doing the BIOS mod, you can remove it because for sure i won't buy Ivy Bridge in future (too hot, i wouldn't delid them and from SB there isn't a real improvement in term of features and performances that can justify the IB CPUs).

I thank you in advance for your kindness and time that you'll deserve to my requests.

                Have a nice week-end!

Going to try mod6 today but can I ask how "ME Firmware 8.1.40.1416" would benefit me as I don't run Windows as a main OS but I could use a spare HD if its worth the effort?

Before working with Z77X-UP4TH BIOS, I think there will be a problem between old F9's logo and the new BIOS : lastest have a small logo with two other small bands, while the former have a full screen logo... what do you prefer ? Why do you not use F11a ?

Does the intel boot agent 1.5.35 work ok with g1assassin2?, if it does, could you mod f12rmod4 please. Oh, I gather I will be able to run ivy-E right?, could you add the microcode?, is it possible for g1assassin2?. The sockets the same as x79s-up5-wifi isn't it?. No, forget the the boot agent, unless theres a proper newer version for x79, I don't want to take the risk.
