    But I doubt that a Sandy's microcode can affect an Ivy CPU...
    It is really useful to complete and keep your PC Specs or Signature up to date in Settings /My Profile (motherboard, CPU, BIOS version modified or not ...) - Thank you all .

      Okay. Don't do the modded 4 yet. I will isolate the problem first. Have to do a fresh install of my OS and drivers

                    Bongkie: Virtualfred is right there. There's not jsut one microcode in there anyway. The BIOS applies microcodes according to the CPUID that the BIOS finds in the processor.

                    During my experiments I even had socket 1155 microcodes in there, accidentally.

                      EFI SataDriver 3.8.0.1009 is not released yet.

                            Ill reboot my pc, check Intel Legacy RAID for SATA - 3.8.0.1009, I know irst rom is fine and irst-e, but cant remember the version number, ill be back.

                              Yes GB abuse of copy and paste... there are 2 Legacy RAID in original BIOS, 8086,2822 and 8086,282a, i delete the second one... for the EFI SATA RAID, I was delirious but the work was ok
