      @virtualfred:

For X79s-UP5 F5a, looks like the non-Intel ME version works excellently. Settings stay even after power off and boot up sequence is much faster. Also, latest MEI firmware can still be manually flashed successfully, as i have just tried.

Thanks for your feedback, for X79 i put both BIOS files in my link, so you can choose which BIOS you flash (with or without ME FW update)
It is really useful to complete and keep your PC Specs or Signature up to date in Settings /My Profile (motherboard, CPU, BIOS version modified or not ...) - Thank you all .

Could you please modify the F11 BIOS for Z77-UP5 TH with the latest goodies?

I use the motherboard with an i7 2600K and with the latest modified BIOS F12j mod5 the system doesnt boot at all when paired with Sandy Bridge CPUs , only with Ivy.

F11 is the most stable for me but i cant find a modified version of it.

          Thanks!

Hello everyone. This is my first post and I'm sorry but it is using a translator.
Regarding BIOS for GA-Z77-DS3H F11 BIOS mod
I question whether you can change the Modulus of the raid with TRIM.
Bios is nice but I would have trim on raid 0 2x 500 GB, and ssd vertex2
Thank you for any suggestions. I greet.

So this same BIOS with 2600K too doesn't work for you while it works for Killkernel ... Did you flashed it with Q-flash ? @BIOS ? Reset CMOS ?

Here's your F11 mod, i didn't touch Sandy GOPdriver cause there's a strange unknown version inside (maybe 2.0.1008), also 2 BIOS files inside : with and without ME FW (original is a very old one).

                  GA-Z77X-UP5TH BIOS F11 mod2

                  Modified with :

Intel Legacy RAID ROM 11.6.0.1413 to 12.7.0.1936
                  Marvell 88SE91xx 1.0.0.0027 to 1.0.1.0025
Intel Boot Agent PXE 1.3.81 to 1.5.43
Intel PCI Accelerated SVGA 2137 PC 14.34 to 2158
                  Intel Sandy GOPdriver 2.0.1008
Intel Ivy GOPdriver 3.0.1012 to 3.0.1023
                  Sandy (06A7) CPU-MicroCode Rev.28 to 29
                  Ivy E1(06A9) CPU-MicroCode Rev.12 to 19
                  ME Firmware 8.1.0.1248 to 8.1.50.1456
                  Modified splash logo

Hoping that it will run well...

Hi, F11 modded BIOS for GA-Z77-DS3H is already available in Original Post with Intel ROM 12.7.0.1936 which supports TRIM with RAID0.

Sorry to read that this F12j modded version did'nt work for you, as said before i'm actually using this version and is working very well.
Like Virtualfred asked: how do you flashed it? Have you used the Q-Flash utility or @BIOS from Windows? Have you cleared the CMOS after the flash?
I hope the F11 modded will work but i'll inform you that for my configuration with Sandy Bridge on every machine (UP4 TH + 2550K@4,9Ghz and UP5 TH + 2600K@4,8Ghz), the new SB MicroCode rev. 29 didn't help improving stability, infact as you have read, i've asked to Virtualfred to step back the SB MicroCode in the modded BIOSes to the previous revision (V.28) that is RS at the frequencies indicated. (The rev. 29 needed much more VCore for maintaining the same OC level).

                      Cheers,

                      KK

I used Q-Flash to update the bios...

I also used the Clear CMOS onboard button but nothing happened...

I 'll be at home in a few hours in order to be able to try the F11 Modded Bios... but damn..i forgot to ask VF to maintain the SB MicroCode to v28.

Virtualfred could you please revert it back to the old one???
