Really strange, i don't understand, supposed to be compatibility issue depending of materials and/or settings, but i never had these RAM issue. With BIOS F19* & F20a/b mod i was using Kingston HyperX 2x4GB 1600MHz CAS9 1.65V with XMP profile, now i'm using 2x4GB Crucial Tactical 1866MHz CAS9 1.55V with settings done manually.

With previous beta F20a & F20b, had a strange long beep at start-up if keyboard and mouse are plugged in Intel's USB3 (next to RJ45)... this little bug is solved with F20c, start-up beep is short as it should .
But with F20a,b & c while Windows 8 is running, still have BSOD if i unplug/replug keyboard and mouse (no issue with USB stick)... same problem while installing Intel INF chipset : when setup disconnect and reconnect USB (when updating), i always have a BSOD... the only way is to run setup.exe, quickly unplug Keyboard and mouse before USB update, when setup finish i can plug keyboard and mouse on VIA USB3 (next to PS2), then shut down system before plug them again in Intel's USB3.

Ive had usb 3 issues on assassin2, mine got solved by leaving the generic drivers installed, maybe you could try that.

Had a reply from gigabyte about f12t beta for g1assassin2, bigfoot killer issue is known to them and f12t shouldn't have been put out, saying that next release will have the bigfoot issue fixed, im trying to convince them at the moment that theres OC issues, they say that they managed a simple overclock to 4ghz, even so, manual core voltage change don't work, and overclock using turbo ratios don't work, its really hard to tell them.

Hi Virtualfred, I tried flashing my X79S-UP5-WIFI with the F4X BIOS but it still doesn't work with my 4930k. I read the description of F4x, where it says the cpu micro code is updated. Do you have any idea why this still doesn't work? I also dug a little around and found an F4y, but this BIOS file cannot be loaded into Q-flash due to it saying q-flash is outdated...I saw multiple other people have the same problem in this thread...Thanks in advance.
