yes, im looking for 2.33, thers no update, and no new package for our board, only for the newer ones, is it safe to use on g1assassin2?.

I'm not sure but Stasio post (in Latest Overclocking Programs, System Info, Benchmarking, & Stability Tools) a new @Bios specially for latest UP4/UD3 BIOS :
@BIOS (X79) B13.0829.1

tjw f12t bios isnt for g1assassin2, you cant overclock, cant adjust voltage, thwres no bigfoot driver, its been changed to intel, how the hell its booted thw bios i dont know, so, theres no network or oc features.I just flashed it with version 2.32 and then reflashed in bios, doesnt matter anyway, the mods ate wrong, not gigabyte f12t is it, somwone rename and make own bios?

Oh dear. I thought it strange that qflash would not update bios after using it every time to flash every bios.
Im going to hold off flashing for now until this is understood ! We have never had to use @bios for a single flash from launch. V2.32 is the latest for the x79 G1 Assassin 2 according to Gigabyte.

Stasio is a new @Bios specially for latest UP4/UD3 BIOS :
(X79) B13.0829.Is it safe to use with X79 G1 Assassin 2 ?

@Boe323 do you think having no network was something to do with having the killer / bigfoot disabled prior to flash ?

For something on this version and 20b mod, 18mod does not change the voltage in the memory
Increasing the voltage to 0.05 volts ends by resetting the BIOS

I wouldn't of thought so, it would react the same way on a clean install, cant see bigfoot running on an intel gige Ethernet driver. Ive emailed support about it, see what they have to say, but looks like we cant update unless we have the ivy-e to put in after the flash, not cool of them if it is.Theres special options for rst raid, windows 8 options, loads of new features, gutted. try for your self, enable bigfoot service, open bigfoot software manager, should ask you to remap, then flash new bios, you may have to use @bios again to revert, I didn't try Qflash so I don't know.Seems like all the new bios' wont OC lol, 77 and 79 boards.

I have an Intel Core i7-4930k, and for it i bought a Gigabyte GA X79S-UP5-WIFI. I flashed The F4x version with a 3930k, tested with the 3930k. When i put in my 4930k, it just starts bootlooping. I confirmed that the BIOS actually had changed version til F4x, yet it still will not boot. I would read through the 200 pages of replies, but i wish not to become old before i find a BIOS that works. Does anyone have any ideas or info that can help me? Thanks in advance.

I would use the stock BIOS until you're up and running. I would try clearing CMOS, flashing the new BIOS,then clearing CMOS again, then with the new chip boot to BIOS and load optimized defaults and reboot. Since you're having trouble I'd remove extra hardware components until after you're booted and up and running. Like run only the bare minimum as far as RAM modules and GPU.

Are you running a special RAID configuration or anything like that? I think my reply might be off topic for the thread, but hopefully this will point you in the right direction and for troubleshooting you can post in a different thread and maybe get advice from someone similar.

On another forum I'm in an owners group for my cpu and the model that replaced it and they're real good with things like this because we are all running similar setups, maybe thats an idea also on finding someone that's seen your problem.

Ok thanks for feedback. I have just updated the Bigfoot again what stasio just posted xxxx.601, Another new release so soon after the xxxx 600. So my Killer bigfoot is running fine. At work now so im going to have to wait now before testing out 12T and @bios - i hate updating from windows ! And im still waiting to here from Stasio to see if there is a version of @bios 2.33 that supports the G1 Assassin 2 on the x79. http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...tml#post466603 for Killer Bigfoot.

I think you misunderstood what i mean. It boots fine with 3930k, but when i install the 4930k it just boots for aprox. 1 second and then restarts. No difference in hardware config except ofcourse the CPU itself. The only reason i updated BIOS was for i7-4930k support, yet it doesn't work. F4x does include updated cpu microcode, so im clueless as to why this doesn't work.

Ok thanks for feedback. I have just updated the Bigfoot again what stasio just posted xxxx.601, Another new release so soon after the xxxx 600. So my Killer bigfoot is running fine. I was able to install the posted latest Killer E2100 driver for the Assassin2 and work on the modified 12S bios.

However, I can not, under any circumstances, get the Killer E2100 to work with the 12T bios.

Attempts to run it manually fail as well... so no Big Foot Networks support for the 12T Modded BOIS with the Intel Management update.

Otherwise, everything else appears to work..

I was able to install the posted latest Killer E2100 driver for the Assassin2 and work on the modified 12S bios.

I should state that the issue appears to be that the drive can not detect the hardware. That's the actual problem. So, in this case, Windows 7 doesn't see the E2100, and crashes. Attempts to install the driver with the 12T BIOS yields a "no supported hardware detected" issue.
