The freezing up and poor performance is where I really get concerned. If the BIOS was just not recognizing the RAM and only saw 16 GB then I wouldn't be too worried, assuming performance was good. But, with 16 GB of RAM, or even 8 GB or RAM,...

Sorry guys I was misunderstood. I was taking up for Stasio. The original comment that I was responding to was an unappreciative user stating something to the effect of "Why did you post this BIOS. It's not perfect, it has bugs. Don't...

Are you familiar with using the number pad arrow keys to change multipliers up or down or typing them in? It sounds like that might be the answer for what you're talking about with pressing the enter button and nothing happens. Not for sure...

Yeap it's not from the modding, you need to go to the stock BIOS and check there. If it's in the stock BIOS it's not related to modding at all. The first thing to do is always flash the stock version and see if the issues there and if there's a...

virtualfred, I like the new splash screen/logo. I liked the old one too, but i know you asked for feedback, I think the new one looks great. X79UP4.F5c flashed fine and is working wonderfully in case that feedback helps.

Stasio, X79UP4-F5c is a nice step forward, it's probably the most stable BIOS i've run since something from the F3 builds.

Do you still have an i7-3820? That's just from my memory it might not be correct. But if that's true and you have a 3820 the multiplier has always been 43 max, that's why they call it partially unlocked if I recall correctly, the K series chips...
