morpheus67, thank you for your help and modding BIOS expertise. But I must ask you something: When will you share the method to add ME firmware to BIOS mods? You don't need to share here openly, but you could share privately with virtualfred or stasio... they are always giving to the community, why not give back a little?

Thanks for the bios mod but AFAIK this board uses no Atheros chips, Realtek ethernet only.

Ok, i managed to take a picture of MEINFO, i had to be quick as lightning because the window disappears way too fast(dunno why) but as you can see the new ME Firmware is not installed.
            Still 8.1.40.1416

You have to do everything through cmd commands, you can't just click on the .exe as it won't work.

                    Hello Dears ;)

                    X79 UD3 F16 MOD here!
                    Window 7 64 bits

After all, i flash my bios from f14 mod 4 to f16 mod..

                    And everything look like OK!

I have a question, i see the original bios F16 updat Q-flash too then it recommanded to flash whit A-bios (on window..) for updat the Q-flash. My question is, the f16 MOD, updat the Q-flash too? because i flash on window like for the original F16.

After all, i see many new features in the bios. What i do is only apply my little overclock (i7 3820) to 4300 mhz whit original Vcore. Everything run fine for now.

Another question, i see in the bios the HPET feature is ON by default. I leave it on. Do you recommand me to activate it on window too? thank you!

I installed your modded bios successfully but the ME Firmware didn't change to 8.1.50.1456, maybe it has to be flashed in windows(as usual).

Edit: Ok, i flashed with your bios again doing exactly what you told, still 8.1.40.1416

Do what I did, use the 8.1.40 firmware updater, just rename 8.1.50 to match the 8.1.40 firmware bin file, then you neeed admin privilege to flash. Just try and remove .exe from the bat file first, if still doesn't work then try my way. EDIT: ive looked at the bat file, it shouldn't have .exe in it, plus you need to backup the old one incase of problems, download the 8.1.40 firmware, and edit the bat file from that.
