Thanks ever so much for this :)

Do Gigabyte tend to not update that aspect of the BIOS as frequently as the newer ROM's are out...?

that is the correct command (/pci filename) trying downloading a new unmodified bios. maybe try redownloading or reextracting the raid rom.

Wrong version of cbrom. You need to use version 1.15 for x58. Have you used version 1.98 before with out any problems?

To ALL - Going forward anyone who submits a bios mod, the mod must include the ORIGINAL bios, the modified bios, and a PATCH NOTES or CHANGE LOG. If these things are not included I will not update the first post with them. If I have to I will put I reminder on the first page I will do so. I appreciate everyone who helps out with the mods but we need to have some structure. I would prefer if everyone sent me a PM with the bios mod so I can look it over to make sure its good before updating the first post, until everyone is on the same page.

@stratos if you want I can add the missing items to your mod or unless you want to fix it then I will update the first post.

                              Marvell Bios Version 1.0.0.1033 / Firmware 2.2.0.1125
After flash is complete, shut down fully and switch off PSU, wait one minute and clear CMOS. Then turn on, boot to BIOS and load optimized and save/apply/reboot back to the BIOS. Once in the BIOS again set AHCI settings and Marvell Firmware mode to "Force", then save/apply/reboot and let it load through to windows, before that happens Marvell Firmware will update and board will reboot.*

When you enable raid for the intel controller you can see the version number on startup when the system is displaying the raid info. Same thing with the realtek you need to enable network boot to see the rom version. Otherwise you can look at the bios with cbrom115 using the /d switch.
