with This release will not enable the TRIM on RAID0 feature, but it will be added in the next RST 11.5 release.


if there no any issues in using for now, suggest to wait for next version update...it better update Marvell Bios Version 1.0.0.1033 / Firmware 2.2.0.1125 "B" too for all X58a chip!

Im sorry that board is very old, I am not sure which version of cbrom would work let alone which Intel raid rom would work. I know for sure the latest raid rom will not work. Maybe some one else would like to try and do a mod for him.

After flash is complete, shut down fully and switch off PSU, wait one minute and clear CMOS. Then turn on, boot to BIOS and load optimized and save/apply/reboot back to the BIOS. Once in the BIOS again set AHCI settings and Marvell Firmware mode to "Force", then save/apply/reboot and let it load through to windows, before that happens Marvell Firmware will update and board will reboot.*

I have downloaded and successfully flashed the Modified bios(*MOD.FF3) from the first page of this thread for My Gigabyte X58A UD5 Rev 2.0
but am facing a BIG problem.
I cannot add a SLIC 2.1 table to that file using AWARDTool 1.52(tried all methods FACS, SSV3, ACIPTBL at end etc)

It is therefore requested to kindly update the below file(FF3) which already has a Slic table with latest ROM modules

Hi I have been attempting to do the mod for you but something with the way you modded the bios I can not update the Jmicron rom along with Marvell Firmware. So the only oroms I can update are the Intel raid and the Realtek lan. If these 2 are ok for you and can post the mod but if you wanted all oroms updated I can not.

Someone else had me mod a bios that was already modded with slic but I had no issues.
