I thought this driver was chipset specific and my z77x-ud5h rev 1.1 chipset may be different from yours. After all, it does hardware monitoring such as system and CPU temperature. I may be wrong (I need advise here please) but I think that there are different MEI drivers for different manufacturers and different motherboards. Gigabyte only lists MEI (Intel Management Engine Interface) version 8.1.0.1263 for the z77x-ud5h rev 1.1 motherboard.
You can see that the newest version is compatible with your chipset. Station-Drivers - Intel Chipset (top box)

stasio has listed here and is the official version, which was linked previously.

That statement is partially true. An older Intel DG43NB board released in 2008 that I have, (LGA775 socket) includes an MEI v. 5.xxx firmware that can only be used with a corresponding MEI driver v. 5.2.0.1002.
But: there's no difference between manufacturer A vs. manufacturer B, [assuming the 2 boards are using the same Intel chipset], as far as what MEI firmware and device driver are appropriate for that specific chipset board.
Different chipsets DO require different MEI firmware specifications. An MEI firmware from a Z87 chipset board would be incorrect if attempted to be put on a Z77 board, for example.

But it has a little trick that u need to extract it uncompressed not as is since its compressed but with without compression(like store option in 7-zip).

Hi, it's normal cause ME info only show Intel GBe firmware while your G1 Assassin2 has Killer E2100 chip.

Hello, i have old P35-DS3 rev.1 and three 250GB drives.
The Intel SATA controller does not offer option to make RAID array, is it possible to upgrade the ICH9 ROM to support RAID?
What will happen if i try to flash BIOS from P35-DS3R?
I currently have mirror set on JMicron controller, but i want to try connecting it to ICH9, to see if it can run 3 drives or 2+spare.

I also found modded BIOS P35DS3MOD_11_13_12.15D here, it is F15D (latest available on Gigabyte site is F14, i do not know where i found the F14c and i wonder where F15D came from).
Will my RAID array get broken if i flash it?
                        The notes say:
                        Updated with...
                        Jmicron 1.07.28
                        Realtek 2.51

                        Thanks!

Okay unmodified F15d seems to run fine, but the mod makes nasty beeps on boot and reboots the computer twice before it is able to boot.
I think i will keep the F14c, it was running fine with Q6600 2.4GHz overclocked to 3.33GHz...

Edit: There is one advantage of the F15d - the ICH9 SATA ROM is newer, so it does faster disk detection on boot.
I still wonder if is possible to change ICH9 to ICH9R by flashing different ROM, but i will not mess more with it, because it would be bad if i brick it.
