Well I've always seen 8300/8400 overclock about the same @ 4Ghz easy, but ya probably not on this board, P35 or P45 would be better, with P45 being the best for it.
Maybe I'm confused though, it's hard to keep track of what CPU's can do what, since Intel has a new CPU lineup or new boards so often!
Nice, soon we will know! I saw a P45 the other day for cheap I was going to link you up, but it was sold within an hour or so and I couldn't get here in time
My limit is probally $80 for a motherboard, yes i buy almost all my stuff off ebay.
Another question, i have run raid 0 quite a few times before, but always set it up then installed windows, im running windows 7, is there anyway to setup a raid 0 without reinstalling windows ?

Need some help, been awhile since i installed a Raid 0 setup. Im going to run 2 160gb raptors. I know i need the raid drivers from gigabyte, do i have to run them on a floppy, or can i burn a disc ?. Im insalling windows 7, so is it still f6 during loading of windows and then install drivers ?. I think i have to configure the raid setup, isnt there a F something during logo screen i need to push to set the drives in the raid 0 config ??? thanks again guys you been a great help.

I think on my board i have to hook up the 2 raid drives to the purple sata ports to make it work, then control G and setup the raid in the raid bios, maybe LSDMEASAP can confirm this.. I have to format the usb flash drive to put the drivers on it FAT32 ?
