Beta or not, I don't care. They had more than enough time to fix this. It's wrong to work on a new product when you don't have your "old" product working like it should.

You're starting to get way too silly, are you aware of that? You have absolutely zero idea how such companies work, and I am glad you aren't on any manager post anywhere, because you could easily destroy others' jobs if you were.

Any beta bios for the ga-990fxa-ud5? Having issues with turbo overclocking with a fx-8350 in the f11 bios where both levels 0 and 1 of turbo overclocking don't seem to be supported and the multipliers being set for the regular and turbo entries operate incorrectly, as discussed here: overclocking vishera/bulldozer turbo on a ga-990FXA-ud5 I also send message 1304980 to gigabyte and am awaiting a reply. I have also experienced the bios screens locking with rapid use of the down arrow on a ps/2 or usb keyboard. I did optimize the bios. Thanks

P.S.: Having been a software developer and now a computer consultant, I am familiar with the risks of beta products and turn-around times

I completely understand your frustrations at trying to get a simple answer to a problem that you might not have encountered in the past.

I was a 7 year MS MVP and I beta tested VIA mainboards when ATX models were mainstream. The thing is, you can't and will never know anything and everything. This is my first Gigabyte board and let me tell you I built a lot of machines. It's my business.

I must say that Gigabyte has some funky bios versions that are, well weird. Take my board for instance the Z77X-UD5H. We are now up to F15m (Beta mind you) and I still can't get it to work properly with USB outputs. As for the Ultrafast, well, I'm Ultra frustrated.
Needles to say that I have talked with support and they aren't the chattiest bunch of fellas (mind you the VIA guys weren't either

The thing is more the issue is spotted on forums and calls to the maker, the higher is the probability of a fix.

I, for myself have never used the TPM module. I have PGP disk encryption which does the job for me.

I hope that you can resolve your issue as I am patiently waiting for a Bios that can recognize a mouse and a keyboard from any port.

Hello and happy holidays to everyone!

I'd like to ask if there any news about Z68-UD7.
The only official BIOS available is F10, which has the known multiplier issue with the IB CPU's. The F11a which is available here, not only has locked BCLK, but I've also noticed that sometimes the system cannot wake up from sleep.

I've been contacting Gigabyte since June, and they keep telling me the same ridiculous answer cause they will "forward my issue immediately, and they will fix it asap"... But someone must tell them that six months, with an unofficial, beta BIOS for the Z68 flagship is not exactly "asap"... A motherboard which was considered to be "the best Z68 mobo". It is not only disturbing for the users, but shows us how GIGABYTE deals with their customers.

I'd like to truly know, if GB has planned on releasing a stable and fully compatible BIOS (UEFI or not) with the IB processors. And I have no intention on buying a new motherboard.
I don't think that I'm asking for too much... I'm just asking for what every other vendor has offered to their customers.

If ANY BIOS did not working with "still no fix for USB devices",then you go back to any brand you want.

Why then have left betas F5M, F5N and F5o, the Z77X-UP7 motherboard, if you have already gone to F5?
The F5j had the Intel Raid Rom 11.6.0.1702, however not the F5. Why?

have you left cmos/mb battery out for 30mins? i should save your bios settings

not cmos battery as settings were saved it cleared them to defaults then would not resave them
no problems from F11 in backup bios
