sense GA-P67A-UD3-B3 has UEFI bios now

will the my similar model GA-P67A-D3-B3 get the bios update.
also version 2 of the model already has it. so does that mean it is coming for the version 1?

That's the only reason keeping me from upgrading to uefi, those leds are not made to be always on. Every UEFI bios for this board have this problem.
Older bios (f12) works perfect, but a new uefi bios is always welcome :3

Screw Gigabyte for this. It's going on and on for months with this issue while those bloody idiots are busy updating Z77 for whatever marketing reasons instead of fixing their "old" broken models. This just proves I should go for Asus next time !!!!!! ITS UNACCEPTABLE ANY LONGER!!!! MY ANGER IS LEGIT SO DON'T COMMENT ME DOWN ON THIS !

Beta or not, I don't care. They had more than enough time to fix this. It's wrong to work on a new product when you don't have your "old" product working like it should. It's been months and months like this and I bet ya it's an easy fix that takes less than an hour to patch. The uefi bios makes my computer boot faster and that's why I like but it doesn't mean I have to suffer those leds being constantly lit. It's a pain in the a**, especially when you have a window panel!

You need to understand what mean [Beta]

Beta" is a nickname for software which has passed the alpha testing stage of development and has been released to users for software testing before its official release. It is the prototype of the software that is released to the public. Beta testing allows the software to undergo usability testing with users who provide feedback and Beta Bios can be unstable and could cause crashes or transmit wrong data.

If UEFI bios is unstable for you, why not flash back stable bios?

It's been months and months like this and I bet ya it's an easy fix that takes less than a hour to patch. Those leds being constantly lit is a pain in the a**, especially when you have a window panel!

Who said it's not stable? I have no stability issues with it. Beta or not, I don't think that keeping the leds lit all the time is an issue you can keep up with for a long time.

buddy - beta is beta and bugs will exist / remain. You have options though, change your side panel ! Put some black tape over the LEDs ! But if you have a windowed side panel surely the bling shining through is what its all about

I recently tried to contact support gigabyte indicating that there are problems with the launch of the TPM module to Z77-DS3H is likely due to some issues in the UEFI BIOS.
TPM is detected by windows, it pass self testing but BitLocker says about BIOS communication problems.


The answer to this technical questions was a genius "Using encryption devices in the Russian Federation is limited. For a detailed explanation on this issue, we recommend that you to regulatory authorities."

What customization they are talking about?) And why its not supported by default? TPM module is connected and detected by software

Its installed and recognized by windows, Infineon software (TPM module chip maker) says its OK after slef-testing
But after I try to start encrypting with BitLocker it stops with error message "The BIOS did not correctly communicate with the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). Contact the computer manufacturer for BIOS upgrade instructions."
