Downgraded to F13 (Agesa 1.2.0.3), still got BSOD (pfn_list_corrupt). Because in the last 2 years, Gigabyte failed to release stable bios versions. Agesa 1.2.0.4 and above got some bugs and issues on overclocking. XMP make pc crash and bsod.
Motherboard: B550 PRO AC
AMD 3950x
Similar setup and like you, I was plagued with unexpected crash and freeze both on Windows and Linux. I managed to reign it in by sticking to the secondary, slower XMP profile and disabling a bunch of energy saving settings.
But that was before I read this reddit thread. With the memory tweaks I am now stable with XMP at the native 3600MHz instead of being stuck at 3000 on F14/1.2.0.5
Here are my settings ("test" are the new changes from reddit) : # Tweaker

I'm sad to announce latest bios cannot apply negative curve optimizer to my 5800X3D in the bios or at least I'm not able to find it...I'll never buy again gigabyte products, stable bios comes after months compared other brand and with less options than them. Literally the worst....
You really should give F8h a try. So far I haven't had a single issue with newest F8h
Either F8c and F8g caused issues within first half an hour after flash already.
F8h looks promising so far.
Looks like F8 proper was released on the 19th. Anyone try it out yet?
Hey guys,
I wanted to share this on the off chance that somebody out there has the same issues...
I bought the X670e AORUS MASTER motherboard, together with a 7900x, 64GB RAM and and Nvidia Gigabyte 4080.
Since the beginning (a few days ago) my computer locked up during boot, didn't boot at all (always saw the BIOS or Gigabyte logo screen) or kept loading Windows (spinning circle) indefinitely.
I changed the RAM from a kit that was NOT on the QVL list to a Kingston 5600 kit (KF556C40BBK2-64) but these issues persisted. I upgraded to the latest BIOS yesterday to the new F8 from f8h have had this sins the relese of the board, the issues persisted on all. As a last resort before throwing everything out of the window I removed one of the 3 NVME drives (2 were attached to the CPU slots, one was attached to the CHIPSET slot). I removed the one that was attached to the chipset slot because I read somewhere on Reddit that some users experienced issues with drives connected to those slots.
Suddenly EVERYTHING worked! I could remove all the custom settings, load defaults, enable XMP and the PC started up EVERY TIME. It remained stable, no weird hiccups or stutters...
Previously it only hang once every 10-15 times. Now? GONE!
is this the way of the new bios:es fix this this is a board of 500$ this is not ok
F15 for B550 Aorus Elite V.1 also online....it again started with the 2 times boot, like boots turns off and boots normal...it had it before too...but somehow fixed by itslef or a windows update

I am note 100%,since I'd have to test that but I can definitely tell you that I have that exact problem you describe since I put M.2 in all of the 4 slots. So it must has something to do with m2 drives. My system has like a 20% chance to boot without problems but most of the time it boots and everything takes an freaking eternity. Like it is not totally unresponsive but my inputs take like 10 seconds, no joke. Or the bios screen in general.. It takes 3 minutes until it dissappears and windows is actually loading
Weirdly though this problem will be gone when I power my pc on the first time, shut it off again and power it on again. It's only the very first boot of the day where I have that problem you describe. But i am 99% this is an issue for all x670e master owner since I do have it and I do have an M.2 in the other slot(s)

That is normal, when u flash new bios it reset every settings. That double boot is probably caused by re-training ram procedure. Be sure u have restore the settings u need (xmp)

Can anyone help? CPU red LED lights up and nothing happens.
What are my options?
If u motherboard support it (it does) try to flash it again with the bios flashback utility, it will let you flash the bios without cpu or any video avaible
It can be RAM training needing multiple starts but the update might also be programming other devices apart from just the BIOS FLASH device - like EC f/w maybe - that need to happen in stages. This is one reason why QFLASH rather than using @ BIOS in Windows is preferable - but every BIOS update is always a worry until everything;'s back working with all settings restored.
You should be able to flash bios, using a USB drive, plugged into the QFlash usb port on your MB, without having to go directly into BIOS. Follow the instruction in the link I provided.
F8 seems to be final now for X670E Master, but it for sure does not feel like. Didn't take me 10minutes until I've heard that windows "device connected/disconnected" sound over and over again. then I rebooted and its gone now, but too early to judge. F8 still seems not finished though.
I updated to F8 and am not seeing any instability issues yet compared to F8h, and post time seems to be around 5 seconds now with 4x16 sticks of ram in expo, which is probably as good as it's going to get.
Several problems still persist that have been there from the beginning though. One of my fans doesn't operate after a restart and requires a complete shutdown and unplug or long time frame to reset and start again despite the LEDs working. My ethernet port is also still pretty much worthless as it only lights up and works once every couple weeks when the mobo feels like it. At least wifi 6E is fine.
So far the X670E AORUS Master - F8 bios has been terrible compared to the F8H beta which also wasn't great, but less bad than this. Freeze during boot, sound glitches and memory instability are all issues.
