I'm thinking it could be PCIe lanes? or related.
While troubleshooting issues I had Nvme drive that acted weird and effected the rest of the system, I figured it was broken and I took it out and that seemed to fix it much of the issues. Now I'm thinking the drive might be fine and it was a PCIe lane issue or similar all along. Considering it affects boot, USB devices to stop working and now networking (once).
Weirldy though it feels like the first cold boot only causes these problems therefore when I boot up my computer the first time after it was completely shut off I go into bios, shut it off again, start it again and then none if these problems occur.
Could be placebo, but so far I had no problems when doing that.
I am usually a really patient person, but at this point it is getting annoying.. thats the 3rd F8 BIOS that still does not work. (yea I know its beta, but they do release those on official website as well without even acknowledging that those are beta?!)
Feels like in general Zen4 ist just such a unfinished product as it seem to be the norm nowadays.. Starting to get pissed thats for sure.
So far F8b worked the best for me personally besides those horrendous and ridicoulusly boot times.

It's a year today since Gigabyte released their last stable BIOS update for the B550I (F15 on 13/01/22). I wonder if we'll ever see a non beta release of F16, or even agesa 1.2.0.8? (Doubtful!)

But given F36 is AGESA V2 1.2.0.7. I'd hazard a guess it's 1.2.0.8. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard...upport-dl-bios[/QUOTE]
Possible as AGESA 1.2.0.8 fixes a CVE on Cezanne according to AMD. ? I ran the downloaded BIOS thru SMU checker and no changes as far as SMU. Still learning UEFITool to check AGESA unless someone here is better versed than I on what to exactly look for as the information given is pretty much above my pay grade.

It is strange that B550i last release was 12 months ago but luckily F15 has been an OK version - unless you actually have a 5800x3D or fTPM stutter needing the the new AGESA
There has been a new Revision 1.2 of the B550i and this comes with a different BIOS number FA which also includes AMD AGESA V2 1.2.0.7 like F16e - so surely they could release this for Rev 1.0 / 1.1
One difference in spec 1.1 to 1.2 is the BIOS FLASH size is smaller at 128 Mbit

Just checked the F37a for x570 Master. Sadly its still Agesa 1.2.0.7 ond not 1.2.0.8. Gigabyte is slow af in releaseing new BIOS as always. Kinda hoped they changed their mind considering the security exposures in Agesa 1.2.0.7. My company is migrating away from Gigabyte-hardware cause of the poor security management of the said company. A bit sad, cause the hardware is quite nice. The Software/Firmware not so much.

I faced stuttering issue and audio stutter problem on AMD ryzen 2600x, 3600 and now 5600x on my gigabyte x470 gaming 5 wifi motherboard all these years and finally it was fixed on 5600x after updating to 63c beta bios (still waiting for out of beta release) AMD AGESA V2 1.2.0.7.
I don't know when they are going to release out of beta bios for x470 line-up.

Can someone please check if the new BIOS fixes PBO for Ryzen 5000 series? Just set EDC in UEFI 1W higher than stock and observe if single threaded boost is still limited to 1.425-1.45V instead of 1.5V. There is no new UEFI for my x570 Aorus Pro yet, so I cannot test it yet. The issue is present on all AM4 boards, regardless of the chipset. Thank you!
