And the question now is how high can Stasio overclock his cpu with his current 2800MHz memory speed?

I am all for haswell. Using ConvertXtoDVD I would say a movie that would take to about 5-10 min is now about 3-5 min. But ivy was at 4.5ghz while haswell is 4.7ghz. Still its all luck of the draw. I could drop in my 4670k and see how I can do on that again now that I know how to overclock a good cpu. Also I never put liquid pro on the cores of the 4670k so I might do better but I doubt it will do anything like my 4770k.

you need liquid pro on there

Just FYI your pc specs show "i5 4770K".

You guys got all the overclocking figured out and here I sit still waiting to get my new board and cpu. My main rig components are all packed up ready to send out but I have bought some replacement 840 SSD's and another pair of 7950's.
My backup rig is OK, I just miss my "hotrod" with the new tech.

Ace, sorry to hear that your 4770K's performance is at the i5 level.

Has anyone with a 4700K enabled Hyper Threading with a modest overclock to see how much it raises cpu core temps?
An early Haswell write up said that temps could be 8o - 10o (C) higher with HT enabled.

HT might default to being enabled, but there should be an option to disable it, but only with processors that support HT. With a cpu that doesn't support HT, the HT bios setting will be missing or it will be grayed out and not modifiable.

Not sure for a 4700k didn't know they made such a beast. As for disabling HT and what temp, Vcore drop you get not sure. I think I tried to disable HT and saw 0 improvement but I was still learning (not that I have finished learning) how to overclock haswell. I could try again since I need to retest settings for new bios came out. A lot has changed since the first "i" series cpus (socket 1366).

Disabling HT on my 4770k so far with LinX did not try others seems pointless. little to no temp drop and vcore I was able to drop from 1.21v to 1.20v

Has anyone tried LinX with the newest Linpack (11.0.5.009) on default settings? I get the same crash after one rep that I do with an OC'd rig.

Linpack 11.0.5.009 does make it through when I use the Linpack sample script, but then it stops using 2 cores during the middle of the run, with lower Gflops -- around 100 or so. When I run LinX + Linpack 11, during the single run it does work, it uses all 8 threads at 160 GFlops.

                              What am I doing wrong?

Based on some advice, I disabled HT, then ran Linpack 11.0.5.009 from its batch file. LinX with Linpack 11.0.5.009 has been crashing after 1 rep, and that is why I went with the batch file. For now, CPU is at default. Here are the results:
