Well, this can be caused by the Gigabyte, Gigabyte has updated the AGESACPU, that could the problem.

That would be helpful, my brother has problems with boot loops so hoping a modified BIOS might help.

On my bord, P45 - ICH10R with 11.6 orom and 11.6 RST driver doesn't work ( i tried it with 11.5 orom and 11.5/6 RST driver and its the same ), since is the same south bridge like the one on my board im sure you are going to get the same result as me. Since you want speed you need to do some testing, some ppl. say that 11.2 orom and drivers offers more performance than 11.5/6 orom.
So is there any chance to get "raid-0 trim" support in X58 (by spoofing the Z77 bios or something like that) or is it a pipe dream?

Maybe is bug or a limit of the chipset.
JohnSlash, a big big favor I would dare to ask you: At your convenience could you please incorporate the latest ROMs (as you so
greatly did in F3) into F3a?
As posted before, I cannot overclock the F3 to the extend it was possible with the F3a. Thanks once again!!!

By the Way test3090, What is your processor ?

Could you take a picture and upload in any site your overclock bios screen ?
I have switched many settings, but i'm not comfortable with them.

( If it's not a bothering, please, post the RAM timing screen, or type it here )

                          Many Thanks.

Thanks a lot for the F3a - won't be going back to F3.

My pleasure. Something else I forgot to mention: At ANY cost get rid of EasyTune. Using AMD OverDrive you could attain these settings but seemingly with less impact on heat (compared to BIOS implementation). Go figure... Also the system feels a bit more responsive with HT Link Width: 16-Bit (you can change that = NO Crash).
