    Download links:http://win-lite.de/benutzer/fernando...v1.0.0.1033.7z
    >Marvell 91xx AHCI/RAID ROM v1.0.0.1033< (newest Marvell 91xx AHCI/RAID ROM version, uncompressed size: 28 KB, unchanged usable with DEV_9123)
General remark: An update of the Marvell 91xx AHCI/RAID ROM module may only be useful for systems with a Marvell 91xx chip, which offers full RAID support (Marvell 91xx RAID mode option has to be available in the BIOS). For details look >here<.
    Compatibility:*
    According to the hex code this actual Marvell 91xx ROM version should support the following DeviceIDs: 9023, 9028, 90A3, 90A8, 9110, 9111, 9120, 9122, 9123, 9125, 9128, 9130, 9171, 9172, 9179, 917A, 9181, 9182, 918A, 9189, 9190, 9191, 91A0 and 91A2.*
Attention: Nevertheless it is necessary to open the ROM module with a hex editor and to look into the 3rd line (offset 20) for the correct Marvell AHCI Controller DeviceID of the mainboard. If the system has a DEV_9120 Controller, the hex code has to be "4B 1B 20 91", whereas DEV_9123 needs an "4B 1B 23 91" entry. Other DeviceIDs need a similar alteration of the related hex code pairs. If the Marvell ROM update with this version should fail, the user may have to take another version, which is more specific regarding the DeviceID of the onboard Marvell 91xx SATA Controller (look >here<).

    I can't test it and, according to Fernando, HEX code is not the same (4B 1B 20 91 from 1.0.0.0025 ROM, 4B 1B 23 91 in the 1.0.0.1033 one), i change it but i don't know if it's ok...

Im interested also, maybe my fan speed will go back to normal. Snout, I noticed you have xmp enabled, I suggest, disable and manually set timings, xmp for me doesn't set the correct timings.

A firmware update for the VIA USB controller on the Z77X-UD5H v. 1.0 board:
                VL800 USB 3.0 Host Controller
                Discussion here: GA-Z77X-UD5H - USB3 Problem under ML - Page 3
I was able to use the update utility under Windows 8 64-bit. Went from firmware version 9.50 to 9.60. Except: the VIA download page shows these as versions 0.95 & 0.96.
Note: my Z77X-UD5H v. 1.0 board includes version 810 VIA controller. The newer Z77X-UD5H v. 1.1 board seems to include version 811 VIA controller. The same VIA web page lists a firmware update for that (v. 811) chip to firmware v. 0.983.
Look in Device Manager/USB Controllers/Generic USB Hub to determine which VIA chip is on your board. Alternative: the VIA update utility may show which chip version is present.
Note: this VIA chip firmware is independent of whatever version Gigabyte bios is being used.

Hi,i have a problem that i've also explained in another thread.

                  My specs.
                  3770k
                  z77x-ud5h rev.1.0
                  2x4gb hyperX loVo
                  sata3 ssd agility 2
                  2x hdd sata2
                  pci SB fatal1ty chapion series
                  powercolor 7950 v2
                  tx750v2

Here's my problem. The only bios that works with my 7950 is the official F14 from GB site. And only if i set the PCIE GEN mode to GEN2 and disable the IGPU. If i leave it at auto or GEN3 the system wont post. The bios beeps indicate that there's no graphics card. I have it in the highest pcie x16 slot,no other pcie card in the system.
Tried almost every bios there is with no luck. Is it possible to determine the cause why no other bios would work, is it possible to compile a new bios from f14 and the latest f16mod or something,so i would have the most updated and stable bios.

Is the bios the cause why my card wont work at PCIE x16 3.0?

I'm like almost loosing my mind here...a little help would be appreciated. I've done my research and a lot of people have the same issues.

                  Thanks in advance.

I was going to suggest the registry hack, just realized your not NVidia, very strange issue, have you tried a different gen3 gpu?, could be that you might need RMA for gpu or even the mobo, gigabyte isn't the way forward im afraid, they have gone really down hill with there quality, for the last last 3 years everything as been problematic from gigabyte, I cant afford a new rig build at the moment so im stuck, they like to tinker with stuff that doesn't need altering if you get what I mean, causing more issues. Statio is good with modding bios' if he can help, he will. I think hes taking a break though at the moment, so will need to wait a little.

                    • Re: GIGABYTE Modified Bios

Hi, I met this problem with my MB and VGA too.

                      Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H Rev 1.1, BIOS F17
                      Gigabyte GV-R797TO-3GD Rev 2.1, BIOS F62

Stock BIOS in MB was probably F10, I tried update to F17, but not helped. So I set PCIe to Gen 2 and all was fine (but worm drilled in my head).

Today I update to version F19j and voila, PCIe settings Auto/Gen 3 is ok and testing in OS confirm full PCIe 3.0 performance.
So the problem is probably in your MB and new BIOS can fix it.
You must be patient and wait for it, and hoping.

Try to write to gigabyte support about your problem.
I contacted support too (by web form), but not received any reply. :(

It is funny that Gigabyte is not compatible with itself.

Not sure why you posted in this particular thread but you could try HWinfo32, very good for this sort of thing.
