    hey,

what were your timings for 4.2? is that on air? what are you idle/load temps?

i'm also seeing issues with the front panel header http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/x58a...-issues-36776/

Nah, its on water (details in sig). Idle temps are ~40 deg and load is ~70 deg.

      For the moment I'm running 200 x 21
      Uncore @ 4000Mhz
      RAM @ 2000MHz 9-9-9-24
Vcore @ 1.4v (probably higher than I need)
      CPU vtt @ ~1.5v

I have done some quick tests at 220BCLK and had no probs but havnt spent much time on it yet.

I'll update you guys when I have played around with it a bit more.

here's a quick vantage run I did. There seems to be quite a lot of headroom left. I'm hoping to get above 4.5GHz.

Are these scores any good? It's been a long time since I've compared 3dmark scores so I'm a little out of touch, LOL.

You guys are lucky! I need to get me one of these boards!

Where is all the 230 and above Bclk images? Don't be scared guys these boards will do much more than 222 unlike the older ones, just push the PCIE up to 103-112 (103-106 normally enough to do 230+)

                  GA-X58A-UD7 & Megahalems?

                  To:k1llah3rtz or anyone else.

I'm wondering does the Megahalems Air Cooler fit on the UD7 in the Horizontal position, fan facing upwards?

Or does NB waterblock's hose barb interfere with heat sink & fan making it not possible.

                      Hi,

Re Megahalems.. depends where you put the fan... :) but yes it would fit .. biggest issue will be the height of your DIMMS.. basically anything with heat spreads will probably have issues... XMS3 is ok.. Dominator not ok... just as an example.

@nyeah: please take and post picture of inside of your rig... plus.. does it does it boot with failsafe or optimized defaults in place?.. have you removed the board from the case and ran on a bench....???

I'm using G.Skill Ripjaws RAM which is meant for 1156/AM3 setup and it works fine on this board. So far I'm quite impressed and happy with this board, as I feel like its future proof that it has SATA3 and USB3 support.
