it's likely because of the black screen soft bricking issue which was in the beta and not fixed in the stable leading to influx of complaints
somebody else example: https://www.overclock.net/threads/gi.../post-29310257
and my own experience below
if you dont set a bios password and dont disable full screen logo show, ie most people, you should be fine, i also wonder if the issue only affects amd GPUs but i dont know

a warning: this latest beta has some impactful bugs, likely other boards with "logofail" fix too.
when i disable the option "Full Screen LOGO Show" i get no display output until in uefi or in windows, i would suggest keeping it enabled, and especially set it to enabled before you update to this uefi version.
clearing cmos jumper didn't clear the setting for me, so it can seem like a bricked mobo, but you can still type bios password blindly and hit enter to reach uefi.
recovery flash from usb using qflashplus mobo button will work and will clear the setting and restore display output.
also a similar bug is that even with the above logo setting enabled, when a bios password is set, the bios password entry screen is now blank except for a console curser at the top left, but again password can still be entered blindly.

personal opinion, i was shocked to see this build moved from beta to stable with the issue still present
I use an Nvidia GPU. I can still access the BIOS during POST but the screen is blank unless I hit Del.

New F39 update for X570 Aorus Elite I assume for the other AM4 boards as well will flash in a bit and let you guys know if they fixed the blank screen bug for password entry, although I kind've like it as a secret password screen lol https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard...upport-dl-bios

I don't mind the BIOS black screen password bug, would definitely confuse/deter some that's not supposed to access your PCMR rig lol ?, it's just a black screen without onscreen prompt indicator to enter password - you can still just enter your bios password and press enter to continue as normal.

ok here's the deal
I fixed the no shut down issue (graphics driver reload)
but 11e-g bios' on the z790 aorus elite ax(v1.0) have memory issues
reason why is if I run memtest 86 pro on F11D it will pass all 13 tests 4 times with my OC'd memory configuration
but F11E-G it will fail within the first 2 tests every time . very unstable bios'
but F11D is fine
