I recently flashed to F12r on my G1.Assassin 2 and for some reason I hear the post sound, the computer shuts off, turns on again and then I hear a 2nd post sound before the computer actually boots to the OS. Is there any reason for something like this to happen? On F11, my computer would take really long to even post (from a cold or warm boot). Could this be a compatibility issue with one of my hardware?
Which is the most suitable place to highlight bugs in Beta Bios ?
GA Z68 XP UD4 Rev 1.0
vU1k
-still no more LLC for fixed vcore
-DVID "normal" voltage varies of about +- 0.0150v at every cold boot
-DVID negative offset unusable (any negative offset causes boot failure. CCMOS needed afterwards because it bootloops)
-Actual TouchBIOS not compatible at all. Easytune compatible in some part. Energy Saver not compatible at all
Actual visible changes between U1J and U1k:
-Windows 8 OS option
RE: Z77XUP5 TH Bios 13a I currently have Win 7 x64 on my vertex 4 I wanted to try out Win 8 Pro x64 (using a different SSD) example intel port 0 Vertex 4 (Win 7) & port 1 Samsung ssd (Win 8).
I notice there is a Bios option in 13a for win 8. My question is will i really need to enable this option for Win 8 to work or can i just leave on other default bios option?
Im hoping to have dual boot sort of thing. I dont mind selecting which ssd to boot from in bios or splash screen. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I have dual boot (without option for Win 8 -UEFI) on normal both NTFS partition.
Thanx statio did you take out you normal hdd before installing windows 8. Im planning on removing all hdd and vertex and leaving only Samsung ssd. Then install windows 8. Once installed then to put all hdds back
