What does 1 long beep mean on a uefi bios?, on ami it means past all tests, but I gather uefi is completely different, it comes completely random, I usually get a short beep at startup, but now for some reason I get a random long beep at startup, everything works fine though so theres no reason at all why im getting this random long beep, g1 assassin2 f12r beta, pc will continue to boot as normal and all hardware shows enabled and working, all memory modules all working and still overclocked, cpu still overclocked gpu working fine, mouse, keyboard working fine, any ideas?.

I've had that before with gpu card problems. Could mean the card isn't seated good. Might try pulling the card and blowing out the slot and cleaning the contacts.
When it gives one long beep and then shuts down it can either be a bent pin on the cpu socket or one of the power connectors (like the cpu 8 pin).
Since yours is booting it likely isn't a bent pin, but if all else fails I would pull the cpu and look at the pins real good as a last resort though, or make sure your heat sink is torqued down evenly.

I have a z68x-ud4-b3 motherboard and I'm now running U1C with a 3770k CPU. As a lot of you know there is no vcore control. Is there a newer bios out that lets me control vcore? I can get 4.3ghz out of the CPU but I want more, is voltage control coming?
I'm thinking I want to try upgrade from U1C to U1D in the hope of voltage control. Stasio Do I do this via Q-Flash or do I have to do this the same way I flashed to the U1C UEFI bios?
I have this thread over here if you could please help out Stasio: http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...overclock.html
When will be new the UEFI-BIOS for Z77-D3H, rev1.0 available ? There is still problems with F18 - stability and freezing. F19g improve stability, but still sometimes randomly freezing. Also after 1-2 weeks, it is not possible to change the CPU multiplier, Vcore and many other options. Beta F19g is still too buggy. Only reflash helped...what is a little annoying..when I want to improve my stability OC. Also there is a problem with SSD drive and FAST boot + ULTRA fast boot option. The SSD drive cannot be found. The boot doesn't work. Crucial said there is a problem between SSD firmware and UEFI. SSD is not being recognized. For now it seems the F16 is the most stable, but there is no W8 options.
Hope will be fix soon.
