Since updating the G1 Sniper 3 MOBO to F7 Lucid Virtu is asking for a licence every launch of a 3d application worked previously, tried updating to the latest version same thing I can only assume some licence information is held in the gigabyte bios and its missing or the application doesn't recognize it anyone else having similar behavior?
ALT+F10 to copy the main BIOS to the backup BIOS is no longer working in these new BIOS releases!
Tested on GA-Z77-D3H with PS/2 keyboard (USB never worked for me):
F14 - OK
F15 - OK
F18 - not working
Anybody else able to ALT+F10 in these new BIOS releases? Has the key combo changed or the feature been removed?
Thanks,
Mark
I had a similar issue with ALT+F12 not working on my Z68X-UD3H-B3 but it was because my PS/2 port is broken.
I found out that if you can get the OC error screen on power up you can ALT+F12 when it says press any button and it should give you the backup BIOS screen. Only thing that has worked for me. Not sure if it works on other platforms but couldn't hurt to try.
FYI The F14 BIOS for the UD5H will allow me to selct 1.35v for my RAM but it will always default back to 1.5v when it is saved and rebooted. Going back to the F12 BIOS and it is fine....
