Silly question but the latest beta bios for Z77X-D3H motherboard, is it for version 1.0 or version 1.1 of the board. There is a difference in both boards regards the 12v power to motherboard. Thx

Great , thankyou. Last question, what is the best bios to use on this board. Ive tried a few different ones, nothing seems stable and fast boot is a joke...

no idea,its even buggy on my board so I wouldn't bother using it atm,aslong as your using an ssd,bootups should be pretty quick anyway

but gigabyte need to pull their socks up with fastboot

Sorry for bothering you again. I just like to know if there is a new UEFI firmware that fix the CPU fan problem of P67A-UD3R-B3 ready?
I'm worry about my 2500K's health state...

I'd also like to know could Gigabyte add "Fast Boot" support for this MB? Or at least is it possible to load the EFI part in VBios while booting?

Thanks Wazza, im using the latest beta, seems ok. :) Got ssd so fast boot don't bother me as pc boots in 18 seconds anyways :) Cold booting :)

Using 12r bios on the X79 G1 Asssassin 2. Really strange bug where using +0.07v for DVID offset makes CPU overclocking and Voltages return to normal so no overclock of any kind. Using 0.06 or 0.08 work perfectly fine!

I'm using latest 15q bios on by z77x-ud5h board. I cannot enable fast boot. I've got bootloop with random codes on diagnostic display. Am I doing something wrong or this bios is underdeveloped?

Is there any develpment with the U1b bios for the Z68X-UD5-B3 since it came and went?

Is this the sort of thing you know or can find out? Or do you just get information sort of randomly as it's given to you?

i have read through this entire thread and I am still not sure if you work for Gigabyte, work at Gigabyte or just have close connections with Gigabyte?

GIGABYTE P67X-UD3-B3 u1b version

Ok so i tested this version for a couple of days and it was just yesterday when i received my hdd to install windows 8 in uefi the right way. The bios version is fine mostly except some things which i don`t know if they are normal or bugs.

1. when fast boot is enabled bios version and ram quantity from the first page(m.i.t) don`t show also the m.i.t. status screen where i would normally get frequencies and such is empty
2. ram is reported in windows as 7.96GB
3. the same thing described in #1 happens when ultra fast boot is enabled too
4. fast or ultra fast boot disable(visually at least) voltage reading in the voltage settings in bios(don`t show default ones except for cpu)
5. cpu pll overvoltage option enabled disables overclocking and not setting manual cpu/pcie clock to 100 also disables oc.

These issues happen both with the bios on the gigabyte site and with the one posted here.

Waiting for a reply and maybe a better version altough this runs pretty much stable in windows.

Is there any hope for a GA-Z68AP-D3 rev1 update? If there's a fix for the CPU cooler sensor issue (reports extremely slow speeds, from 0 to 200rpm max) then I won't complain anymore.

Stasio, is there any talk about further memory compatibility on Z77 boards? I have no idea if it's exact model specific, but in my UD3H case at least, I just can't get the memory to run stably even with the XMP profile (which causes a LOT of problems) disabled (that improves the situation significantly, but not 100%).
I sent a ticket to support, but not really expecting any answers (and if I get one, it would probably be along the lines of "sorry, can't do anything")
