Re: GIGABYTE Latest Beta BIOS
For Z68X-UD3H-B3 u1l there are lots of improvements over u1k, however phase LED-s aren't one of them. It features a new boot logo and support for Fast boot and several Windows 8 components (eg. secure boot). Also I don't remember Internal CPU PLL Overvoltage option being there earlier, so I guess they must have re-introduced this.
In conclusion it is getting there, but there is still some work to do.
Update: Don't forget to load optimized defaults or clear CMOS after flashing the bios!
Update2: Found an issue: Fast boot (at least ultra-fast) has sometimes problems setting memory frequency or XMP profiles. - Solution: Not to use fast boot, allow CSM
Update3: When I tried to put computer into sleep mode, something weird happened and now the computer won't turn on. Going to clear CMOS. - Solution: Allow XHCI hand-off
