So since those of us with a Z490 board and 11th gen CPUs are just stuck, is there any way to get the updated microcode before gigabyte releases an update? I'm experiencing all kinds of bull**** with the 0x34 microcode. Not once have I been able to POST with XMP enabled without downclocking the RAM, regardless of gear 1 / gear 2, and with 3 different RAM kits (3200MHz CL16, 3600MHz CL18, 4400MHz CL17).

To do this you must have Intel microcode ready to be replaced.
Latest microcode A0671 (or others) ,can be found HERE.
This page is updating very frequently.
Edit:
Have other tool to do, as UBU ,MC Extractor or UEFITool.
More info can be found HereLast edited by stasio; 04-22-2021, 04:25 AM.

hi stasio, I found a bug with the Realtek 2.5G LAN.
If the lan cable is too long, the Realtek has disconnections or it disables.
I was able to reconstruct this yesterday.
Explanation:
If I connect 20 meters Lan cable to the router, Realtek LAN has no connection, or is deactivated, but you can see on the board that it flashes very briefly, about every 2 minutes.
When I connect 20 meters of Lan cable to the router, Intel-Lan has no problems.
If I reduce the Lan cable to 10 meters, then Realtek Lan works.

2.5gbe should be used with true CAT6 + cabling

Which type of LAN cable you have?.....Cat 5, 5e, 6, 6a, 7, 7a, 8 ?
2.5Gbps...minimum Cat 7
Google...."LAN 2.5G cable max lenght".

stasio 20 meter lan cable is cat7 and hard wired.
Cable to the routers, Cat7.
Cable from router to PC, either Cat7 and Cat5e tested.
The previous motherboard (X570 Master) with revision 1.0 did not have the error.
Furthermore, "stasio", the Cat7 and Cat5e only defines the speed but not the function.
Even Cat5 should work with the length.
The router reports, the PC is available, PC reports not available.
