GIGABYTE regularly releases beta BIOS updates for their motherboards. These beta releases often include new features, improvements, and compatibility updates for the latest hardware and software. Beta BIOS updates are typically made available for users who want to test and provide feedback before the final release.
To find the latest beta BIOS for your GIGABYTE motherboard, follow these general steps:- Visit the Official GIGABYTE Website: Go to the official GIGABYTE website and navigate to the support section. Locate your motherboard model in the product support page.
- Check BIOS Section: Look for the BIOS section for your motherboard model. GIGABYTE usually provides a list of available BIOS versions, including both stable releases and beta versions.
- Read Release Notes: Review the release notes for each BIOS version. This will give you information about what changes and improvements have been made in the latest beta release.
- Backup Existing BIOS: Before updating to a beta BIOS, it's crucial to back up your current BIOS settings. This can usually be done within the BIOS menu or using GIGABYTE's utility software.
- Install Beta BIOS: If you decide to proceed with the beta BIOS update, follow the instructions provided by GIGABYTE. This often involves downloading the BIOS file, using a USB drive to update from the BIOS menu, or using GIGABYTE's utility software.
- Provide Feedback: Since beta BIOS releases are meant for testing, if you encounter any issues or have feedback, consider reporting it to GIGABYTE. This helps them improve the stability and functionality of the BIOS before the official release.

I see that the Z690 AORUS ELITE has had the rev 28b BIOS removed. It was a beta, not replaced at this point.
A newly posted 28c offers
Checksum : DDFB Add "GNA (Gaussian & Neural Accelerator)" Option
Add "SPD Write Disable" Option
Seems, interesting........

F38G on Aorus Elite X570 caused blue screens for me, anyone else have that issue?

The Gigabyte website seems to be re-arranging its pages for revisions. Before many seem confused not realising there were links top left to choose the rev and couldn't understand why the BIOS wouldn't load for example. Now each rev has a completely separate page at the top level without links between the revs Not sure this will be any less confusing.
