I've been using F9C for about a week and have not had a single crash yet. My ethernet port still doesn't work but otherwise this seems like a pretty stable release.

Have you tried to unplug the power cord leave it out for 1min and plug it back in. I have a Intel 11gen that I have to do it with. You can try it doing that fix on Reddit.

Took me 2 reboots to encounter the first BSOD with X670E Master F9c BIOS. I am really getting pissed at this point. Yea I know this one is actually beta but F8 doesnt work any better for me either. AM5 is just an unfinished platform EVEN 5 months after release.

AM4 is still not finished, either.

I am on a BIOS from 2021. Every subsequent version has been less stable. USB issues are still not 100% fixed.

I am currently testing the newly released Version F9C for X670E AORUS MASTER. While the notes only specify support for new CPUs I hope the increased AGESA version or something else improves the spotty and crashing memory stability.

I am note 100%,since I'd have to test that but I can definitely tell you that I have that exact problem you describe since I put M.2 in all of the 4 slots. So it must has something to do with m2 drives. My system has like a 20% chance to boot without problems but most of the time it boots and everything takes an freaking eternity. Like it is not totally unresponsive but my inputs take like 10 seconds, no joke. Or the bios screen in general.. It takes 3 minutes until it dissappears and windows is actually loading
Weirdly though this problem will be gone when I power my pc on the first time, shut it off again and power it on again. It's only the very first boot of the day where I have that problem you describe. But i am 99% this is an issue for all x670e master owner since I do have it and I do have an M.2 in the other slot(s)

I'm still having the same issue after all this time, even on the newest F9c bios version. I do have 3 NVME drives & 2 of them connected to the chipset. First thought it was my RAM and even ended up trying a different kit but same issue persists. Also ended up swapping a WD850X drive to a Samsung 990 Pro because I thought it was causing the issues but nope.

Please, fix this. Ridiculous issues for a 600€ motherboard.

I was experiencing significant performance degradation with this driver, my Cinebench r23 multi core scores were down to ~14333 from ~15123 in the same conditions (5% difference).

How I confirmed the observation: started Windows normally, did several Cinebench runs with 5.02.19.2221, uninstalled chipset software from Installed Apps, installed 4.11.15.342, restarted, did several Cinebench runs again.

System: Ryzen 5800x @ 4850MHz / B550 / 64GB 16-20-20-40 / UCLK 1600MHz / FCLK 1900MHz

I don't use PBO/CO, but even with enabled PBO (142, 95, 120) & CO (all -30, two best -15) the scores on 5.02.19.2221 were similar to stock 4.11.15.342 and killing all the extra applications/processes (razer, hwinfo, intell driver assistant, etc.) almost didn't affect the result - on 4.11.15.342 quitting all these apps helps to gain extra 250 points (up to ~15388).

Yes, the problem is that those two settings are completely missing, i have the yellow UI bios, maybe Gigabyte just disabled those for some motherboards like mine.

I had to look for your past post to find out what motherboard you have in use. If this is correct: B550M DS3H (rev. 1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3) Key Features | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global your board does not appear to support OC on the 5800x3D according to BIOS release notes. No mention of "Optimized performance for 5800x3D" on this board.

This is why I'm never getting AMD again, my current X570 Aorus Xtreme plus 5950x B2 stepping combo works really well, however, it took multiple component RMAs to get there. My first 3950x was a lemon that would bugcheck and reboot the system on stock settings during prime95 (unstable garbage). My first 5950x had two faulty cores that would error at boost and also had USB issues, the second unit is perfect and free of USB issues. My first 5700 XT video card was also faulty and could not run with PCIe gen 4.0, the replacement unit worked perfectly paired with the same hardware and BIOS in PCIe 4.0.

When it is time to do this again in 7 years, I'm definitely going Intel as they have never given me a faulty product and buggy experience. I wish you the best and hope that you can debug your new system so it can be as rock solid as mine and you fully enjoy it. As far as I'm concerned, these aren't Gigabyte issues but strictly AMD issues.

5800X3D does not support traditional OC if that is what you are looking for. You need to use PBO2 and curve optimizer in BIOS.
