Hmm not cool. Try loading optimized defaults and try some more QPI/VTT, i see you have 16GB of RAM. That needs some substantial shared memory controller voltage to operate. Do the rams have XMP profile? If so load it and just write down the values it sets to QPI/VTT, Timings and Ram Voltage.

I just went ahead and enabled the XMP profile and disabled C1 state also.

Post a screen of your volts used now after enabling XMP. VTT etc.

VDDR seems to be right for your ram but i think VTT is too low. I won't jump in and say what VTT to use since i am more familiar with P55 chipsets i will leave the rest of the members to drop in and advise.

All the configurations that I have met have SSD.
Has anyone tried to run the system without it?

I just recently built a pc with this board and was getting the same problem, sometimes I would get boot loop and when in windows I was getting random freezing.
Also had the machine power off for no reason, couldn't figure out what it was so have sent the board back to be tested.

This is identical to my problem. I just put in a 750 watt PSU and a better cooling fan. Also trying a 4th set of ram from a verified working system. We shall see.

I have the same issue with my new build. Everything is brand new. My 16 GB corsair vengeance low profile kit is randomly locking up on my 3570k/UD5h combo. I've tried clocking the ram at xmp, then down to DDR 1333, installing only 8 GBs at a time and the computer still randomly locks up or spontaneously reboots. This occurs both with the F4 and F8a bioses. The power supply is a brand new seasonic 650w so I don't think that could be the issue. I've run memtest and the computer simply powers off in the middle of it without reporting any errors. I'll be eagerly watching this thread to see if anyone comes across a solution to this issue that a handful of us are having.

Same problem, random freezing / shut-down. Happens whether in Windows or in Bios screen. Made mistake of loading Bios F8a as first thing - perhaps should have waited to check out system. Loaded F6 official bios from gigabyte last night and left computer running in bios screen over night with no problem. Loaded Windows 7 16bit this morning - running ok for last hour so keeping fingers crossed!

Re: GZ-Z77X-UD5H Random freezing and shutdowns.

I also just had a freeze whilst browsing on the internet my mouse and keyboard did not respond at all,
had to do a Hard reset.
I also had previous problems getting into the Bios screen when my Momo steering wheel was connected to the
                          usb 3.0 port.
I used this board (three weeks) with a Intel Pentium g850 pending the release of the I7 3770K, with the G850 I had
none of the above listed problems.
So could it be Ivy Bridge related problems / issues / bugs?
I hope Gigabyte are able to release a new stable bios.

For the time being I'm using version F7, but perhaps it would be worthwhile to check official version F6 and see if the
                          problem occurs as well.

Did you use F7 to Load Optimized BIOS default settings immediately after flashing the bios? After installing a different cpu?

Yes, also did a complete clean new Windows 7 install when I got my i7 3770k, ensuring no driver of other
Windows 7 related issues would surface.

I'm going to install bios F6 and only connect my Logitech Wireless Mouse and keyboard to usb port 2.0 (red)
and my Canon printer to the 3.0 usb port.

If it is usb related I wonder whether i should also remove the front usb 2.0 and 3.0 connectors of my case
                              currently connected t the mb?
(only use these for my usb stick and camera now and then)

As i said with the G850 processor on the same mother board NO PRoblems at all.

Like ProfJim said, make sure you load optimized defaults after updating BIOS. I have seen this thing shut down after making BIOS changes and then reboot. From what I've found out this is considered normal. But for myself I have not had any lockups except once after experimenting with Vcore on the low side.
