pic shows 1.6 because I use EIST in the bios.
Just a quick clock so I see its a bit hot but I can tweek with that as I see its very stable.

Hello destructionj, BIOS is the latest F12J beta with modded OROMs and updated CPU micro-code (in this case Rev. 1B for Ivy Bridge) that could possibly change something about the stability for an overclocked CPU...
Have you noticed some benefit with Rev. 1B of Ivy Bridge CPU micro-code?
I ask you because after some extensive tests i've rolled back to the Rev. 19 as 1B needed a little bump in VCore to maintain the stability level obtained with the same HW, same F12J modded BIOS and of course Rev. 19 of CPU micro-code.

Thanks and have a nice day.

            Cheers,

            KK

                            Hey all,

Was there any reason to update the G1.Assassin2 from F12y mod 5 to F13c (modified)?

I don't see a whole lot about the F13 bioses for the Assiassin2 x79 MB... and I'm curious if there was anything fixed, or if F12y Mod 5 was about as good as it got.

is there a change to get a mod bios with current and newest OROMs for GA-Z77-D3H?
I got new final bios (F23) here: http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte...beta-bios.html
                                Download from this site: Z77D3H.23

                                Thank you...
