    Andreych1982,

download latest UBU, unzip, place your BIOS in same folder.
Start with UBU.bat and choose replace Intel Microcode with version 7.
You can replace other ROM's as well, just follow instruction.

    Hello my friends!
Sorry for my English, I don't speak English. I'm using Google translator.
My Motherboard GA-Z87X-UD3H. F10 BIOS downloaded from this site. F9 from the official website. My CPU i7 4770 (non K). In Turbo Boost mode operates at a frequency of 3700MHz when all cores are loaded. However, when you loaded the two cores, the frequency of 3900MHz.
Help upgrade BIOS to 3900MHz frequency when loading all cores.
From here the proposed modifications BIOS, F8m mod and F7 mod2, this opportunity has not.
I will be very grateful to all forum members for the help.
    P.S. Hyper-threading enabled.

EP45-DS4 doesn't boot after flashing BIOS F9 MOD

I've 2 PC's with EP45-DS4 mobo and BIOS F7. I downloaded latest non-beta BIOS from Gigabyte (F9) and flashed it. Everything was OK, except from poor USB performance. I then downloaded and flashed F9 MOD from post #6. After restart I got into a boot-loop. Clearing CMOS by removing battery and placing jumper didn't solve the problem.

I then took my other computer and flashed F9, F10b (latest beta BIOS from Gigabyte) and F10e (latest beta BIOS from this site) succesfully. The poor USB performance stayed. Because I hoped the modded BIOS would solve it I flashed F9 MOD on this PC as well and got the same boot-loop as with the first PC

How do I get out of the boot-loop so I'm able to flash a different BIOS?

Please tell me which is the last modified BIOS for GA-P45-DS3L main board! Now I use original beta F11C. Thank you!

    @mge:
The best Intel RAID driver for your Intel ICH10R Southbridge is the RST v11.2.0.1006, but it is not easy to get it working with Win10. You have to remove the in-box Intel RAID driver v13.2.0.1022 from the original Win10 image, to integrate the RST RAID driver v11.2.0.1006 WHQL and to do a fresh OS installation. You can find my related guide >here<.

The Intel Chipset INF files (there are no "drivers") are not required at all and the problematic in-box Intel RST RAID driver v13.2.0.1022 is still present.

I have a Gigabyte Z170 and I have modded the BIOS using UBU and UEFITool from win-raid forums. To flash a Gigabyte Skylake with a modded BIOS you must use modded efiflash from Lordkag at win-raid forums through a DOS USB Stick. If anyone wants me to mod their Gigabyte Skylake BIOS, please post a request here.

Every time I use "Save Energy mode" (=Standby/Suspend to RAM - no hibernation), both HDD's spin down and after 2 or 3 seconds spin up again before the system shuts down.
I think in long term this will not be good for the HDD's.
The problem seems independent from all versions of RST driver I tested (with original BIOS F11e):
    - 13.2.0.1022 (comes with windows 10)
    - 11.7.0.1013
    - 11.7.4.1001
As far as I know 11.7.4.1001 is the newst driver with full support for ICH10R. That's why I didn' test any newer version (the newer native windows driver 13.2.0.1022 didn't work, too)
Then I tested all drivers with the following modded BIOS: GA-EP45-DS3R BIOS F11i mod Updated with.... IRST 11.5.0.1582 Realtek 2.50
Modded BIOS works fine :-) - but nothing changed.
Does anyone have an idea what I can do to get rid of this issue?
    Many thanks.

Hi, I'm pretty new to this scene and would like to ask one thing - is it possible to force enable XMP on a H170 motherboard with a custom BIOS?
I have a GA-H170-Gaming 3 board with me, and kinda sad to not be able to enable XMP for my 3000MHz kit RAMs.

Re: GIGABYTE Modified Bios: ga-h55-ud3h microcodes

    Hello,

I hope this is correct thread for updating bioses microcodes...

Could you guys help me to update Gigabyte ga-h55-ud3h rev. 1.0 mobos bios microcodes, so I could get xeon x3470 working.

What I have done so far:
    1. Downloaded intel microcode date file from here https://downloadcenter.intel.com/dow...code-Data-File
    2. Created .bin files from microcode dat with command
    Code:
    c:\temp\microdecode\microdecode.exe microcode.dat
    3. Compined my current cpus microcode .bin file and xeon x3470 microcode file to one binary with
    Code:
    copy /b cpu00020652_plat00000012_ver0000000e_date20130626.bin +cpu000106e5_plat00000013_ver00000007_date20130820.bin NCPUCODE.BIN
    4. Downloaded F10 bios from Gigabytes site (GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1156 - GA-H55-UD3H (rev. 1.3))
    5. Flashed downloaded bios to mobo with Q-flash to ensure that it works and is correct bios (and it did work)
    6. Cleared nc_cpucode from bios file with command
    Code:
    cbrom.exe h55ud3h.f10 /nc_cpucode release
    7. Setted read-only attribute to NCPUCODE.BIN file so cbrom won't write to it
    Code:
    attrib +R NCPUCODE.BIN
    8. Written new microcodes to bios file with command
    Code:
    cbrom195.exe h55ud3h.f10 /nc_cpucode NCPUCODE.BIN
    9. Tried to flash modified bios to mobo ---> INVALID BIOS from Q-Flash

So the problem is that Q-Flash does not accept modified bios and just tells that it is invalid. What do I do wrong or is there some kind of checksum check to validate bios??

    More info about bios:
    Code:
    cbrom195.exe h55ud3.f10 /d

I did also wonder what are those crcinit.bin and test.bin roms?
And of course I have not done this never earlier.

    Thank you already for help!
