Run small FFT first, VTT 1.35, keep lowering DVID untill it fail.
Next large FFT, keep lowering VTT untill it fails.
Then blend for 8-10 hours. If it failes raise DVID if small FFT(< 128) failed or VTT if large failed.
Repeating the failing FFT will save hors of waiting. Click customize, set min and max FFT size to the size that failed, and run again. if passed run default again.
Ok, thanks chike, you are the best.......i think i understand that.........so, just do the prime tests ? no need for ibt or linx ?

We already know LynX pass in worse conditions/settings, after the prime you can run it again, maybe 10 runs.
gotcha ! oh, and how long should these prime tests run before success ?, 3, 5, ten mins ? (usually, if i got failures, it didn't take long, like 2 mins or less)

when we look for fauilure we want it to be fast as possible, when we look for success at least an hour for the small and large and 8+ for the blend.
When you run the blend customize it to run each size 10 minutes, and use 6000MB memory (or 7000 if possible).

mine too, i mean, it was fun.......but, i certainly don't notice a speed difference, so goin back to 21x175 now
and idk.......i could never figure that out......unless it has something to do with turbo being on, or some other setting........i do see the normal cpu vcore setting is 1.18125 in the bios now...
or maybe cpu-z, or is it cpu-id (i can never remember which gives voltage, haha) incorrectly reporting voltage

yup, agreed........i don't like running at high temps, and i want it rock solid stable.......ok, changed to 21x175.............but forgot to turn turbo off.........we only had turbo on to get to 22x, so, don't need it now.....

Slower, by very ittle. As I explained befre timings are about time, and the time is the same (10ns and 30ns), higher frequency is a bit faster. Nothing you should be concerned about, performance is much better tha it was at default with 1600.
EDIT: 22x175 should be the same with a bit more DVID maybe, if stable that would be ideal.
Starting to see what your cpu likes and dislikes yet?
I think I saw chike say it run the stability test a little longer to ensure system is stable. Prime95 run for a few hours depending on test, LinX no more then a max of 20 runs at full memory. The first 1-5 runs is a good idea that the system is close, 10-20 for full stability.

ok, back, was planting my tomato seeds, its that time of year ;)
testing with prime blend now, 21x175, dvid/vtt as per ur recomendation, turbo off, runnin at only 1.2V (sweet), temps in low 60's.............hmmmm,22x175=3.85.......goin there now..........hehe.......hay, i can always drop to 21x175 if its shakey...........might have to turn turbo on to get the 22x again, lemmie see now........
